Newly remodeled one bedroom with queen-size bed. Full-size futon in living room. Front deck with garden and awning. Secluded back deck with shower and grill. Cathedral ceiling and many windows create a light and open space.
Just got back from a week @ the beach. Steve and Pam are wonderful people and have put in a new stove new TV and a new DVD player. I cook a lot even on vacation and it was perfect. Weather was perfect - location is perfect and it's so relaxing. I really do love this place and have already booked for next year! Enjoy it so much. I want to make this a yearly tradition.
Small Cottage, but yet very roomy! Nice views, Sounds of the Ocean, Ferry Horn, Seagull's. Has all your basic needs. Gas grill, outside shower (enclosed) Nice front porch to relax on, or eat. Small little back porch which I liked, because you could leave all your sanded clothes, shoe's, ETC.. So you don't have to bring it in with you. Nice parking area, and out back space. You aren't right on top of anyone, so it is nice for privacy. Owner's live right their in front of you, and are very nice, if you need anything. But also don't bother you. Supper comfortable BED!!! NICE BEACH right across the street, no hassle to find a place to park./ or have to pay to use! Plus you can drive every where in just a short distance to other area's. Looks just like the picture! I enjoyed going to the small Pastry/Ice cream store on the corner. (Home made ice cream) We got fresh Live Lobster at the fresh market. Took them back cooked and eat them. That's the way to go $$$ wise. I would recommend others to stay their. I do intend to go back their to stay, and the price is right!!! I ENJOYED my stay a lot. And you will also........... Thank You--- Pam & Steve
We loved this place! Location, Location, Location - short walk to my favorite beach Salty Brine. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants in the area. The cottage is so cute and clean and contains everything you'll need right down to a washer and dryer! I went with my 2 girls and had friends visit througout the week. Steve and Pam are wonderful people and they keep the place so nice. It's also private with all the bushes planted around which makes it very nice. I loved it - it is small, but totally doable for a family of four. We even fit a blow up mattress to accommodate one more! Outside deck, and shower were great. I think I'm going to book for next year because I liked it so much. Highly recommend.
We loved this staying at this cottage. We were with two, which is what I would recommend. The cottage is right around the corner of the ferry to Block Island, which makes a daytrip there very easy. Within walking distance from various seafood restaurants, fish markets, and state beach. Owner has a beautiful wooden sailboat, which he charters (but unfortunately we were there too early in the season to make use of it). We had a lot of fun exploring the fisherman's harbor. There are a lot of fishing charters available too. Off-season this is the perfect place for those who love the sea and shore without bells and whistles. The cottage is a great size for two, comes with all the necessities, not overly luxurious, but priced entirely reasonable. At night we enjoyed the fireplace in the cottage. Will come back here!
Had a great stay at this home away from home. Steve and his wife were very friendly people. The house is small but it fit my bill. Location was perfect walk to beach, restaurants, and block island ferry. I would recommed this property highly to a friend.-Donna
Located in the small fishing village of Galilee across the street from a family beach. Closest point on mainland from Block Island and 1/2 hour from Newport. Walking distance from Block Island ferry, charter fishing, shops and restaurants, bird sanctuary, and inland or ocean boating.
