A STUNNING TOWN HOUSE IN THE EXCLUSIVE PORT PENDENNIS MARINA.

Falmouth House Rental Photos and Description

3 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, parking for 2 cars, water views

Situated in the heart of the sailing capital of Cornwall, this beautiful Falmouth town house offers an exceptional seaside stay for up to 6, in the 5* maritime haven of Port Pendennis.

Modelled on Port Grimaud near St Tropez and designed by Peter de Savay, the exclusive maritime village is set within a private gated enclave that surrounds the inner yacht basin, to provide a

picturesque and tranquil setting from which to enjoy the delights of the coast.

The beautifully modernised townhouse is situated along a fine terraced row of pastel-painted properties and inside offers luxurious holiday accommodation across three sumptuous floors.

From entering the nautical-style hallway which features an inlaid compass to the wood flooring and striped carpeting to the stairs, guests will feel right at home in the serene seaside ambience.

Leading on from the ground floor hallway the bright and elcoming open plan living room provides the perfect scene for holiday relaxing and entertaining, with idyllic marina views to enjoy.

Beautifully finished to a classic maritime style, in a restful palette of soft stone, crimson and nautical blue, the room exudes both luxury home comfort and inviting coastal charm. Sumptuous sofas face a gas burning fire and a flat screen Freeview TV, for ambient evenings in during the colder months, whilst the pretty shuttered French doors open directly out on to a splendid sunny decked terrace ideal for outdoor entertaining. Enjoying a sheltered spot, the decked terrace is furnished with a chic

rattan sitting area alongside a romantic alfresco dining area. The intimate views of bobbing boats and gliding yachts paint a timeless scene in any season, and offer the perfect back drop for relaxing with a good book, enjoying an idyllic morning breakfast or for evening entertaining.

An elegant French-style dining room to the open plan living room is ideal for enjoying delightful meals inside, with the fully-equipped designer kitchen conveniently situated through open doors.

The modern country-style decor of the kitchen provides a practical and stylish venue in which to prepare delicious home-cooked meals during your stay, with all the desired appliances to hand including a Rangemaster cooker, a ‘pure’ water tap, a dishwasher and a full size fridge freezer. The central island may also be easily moved when entertaining. Guests will also find a spacious laundry room with washing machine and butler sink alongside a convenient modern shower room and WC.

The sumptuous comfort and tranquil seaside interior continues to the first and second floor of the townhouse.

Each beautifully finished with premium Egyptian cotton bedding and soft fluffy towels, groups of up to 6 can easily unwind and revive themselves to the three luxurious boutique-style bedrooms.

The master bedroom suite enjoys the run of the entire first floor, to offer guests a private boudoir perfect for 5* holiday relaxation.

The sumptuous king size bed is enhanced by a restful palette of crimson and pale green with plump soft furnishings provided alongside a pretty dressing room, for a boutique-hotel style experience. A sunny private balcony which leads on from the dressing room offers the perfect romantic moment to enjoy a glass of wine whilst overlooking the beautiful marina. A luxury en-suite bathroom fitted with a contemporary bath tub with overhead rainfall shower and a set of his and hers wash basins feature underneath a ceiling of spotlights, for a luxury home-Spa

moment during your stay.

An additional couple may further be accommodated to the luxury king size bedroom to the second floor. With elevated views of the marina to enjoy alongside a coastal themed interior reminiscent of timeless beach days, guests can easily unwind here after a busy day of sightseeing. A bright and informal living area with flat screen TV to the bedroom also allows guests moments to enjoy a movie together or for simply curling up with a magazine.

An equally stylish second twin bedroom with far reaching views of Falmouth Bay is also provided to the second floor, and is perfectly furnished to accommodate children or adults. Both bedrooms feature extensive fitted wardrobes and share a chic New England style bathroom, featuring a bath tub with overhead shower and enhanced by a contemporary spot-lit ceiling, for tranquil moments in the bath.

From the picturesque townhouse guests will conveniently find private parking for up to 2 cars within the secure gated residence of Port Pendennis, as well as a dinghy park for tenders and boat

moorings which may be hired during your stay.

A holiday in Maritime House truly offers the best of both worlds, with its tranquil backwater charm of passing yachts and bobbing boats situated just a stone’s throw away from the vibrant throng of restaurants, bars and cafes of popular Falmouth. Guests are within enviable reach of the champagne, oysters and the tasty takeaway fish and chips which are on the menu at Rick Stein’s

Restaurant as well as variety of other fish restaurants, to ensure guests are never too far away from enjoying the ‘catch of the day’!

Leisure activities are also provided on the doorstep for guests to enjoy, from a game of tennis at the resident-only all-weather tennis court to power boat rental, canoe hire and stand-up paddle board experiences alongside sailing lessons and private yacht hire.

Falmouth also offers a fantastic selection of beaches for nostalgic family days out alongside a thriving art community and an array of visitor attractions including the 16th century Pendennis Castle.

The picturesque seaside town is also within easy reach of many fine botanical gardens, romantic Cornish villages and an unrivalled selection of outdoor activities, just waiting to be enjoyed in this area of outstanding natural beauty.

The perfect waterside holiday home!

This house easily exceeded our expectations in every way. Set in a very exclusive marina development behind electric security gates we really felt as though we were VIP's! The decor was exquisite and we felt privileged to be staying there. The views across the marina basin were enchanting, we sat on the terrace for hours with a glass of fizz and our books!
What was even more amazing was the location. Although it was very peaceful and serene, we were literally a few hundred yards from the Events Square. We enjoyed fish and chips at Rick Stein's a couple of times, and The Shack is also to be recommended for great steaks.
All in all an absolutely first class house in a brilliant location. Very highly recommended!
