Enjoy the excitement of Austin in this charming, fully equipped 1/1 guest house which shares patio, sauna and indoor heated pool (powerful massage jets) with the main house, which is also a day spa turned B&B. This comfortable house (600 sq.ft) was built in 1936 and has hardwood floors, tile kitchen and bath and gracious lines. A trail around the block leads to our famous Hike and Bike Trail on Lake Austin. We also have a basketball hoop. You will be only 1.6 of a mile to the capital, downtown, famous 6th street (the entertainment district) and UT. Off street parking. Just walk in with your suitcase and you are living comfortably. We have a new deck and stairs up to your house in the trees.

Notes: We have 4 very private, very separate spaces available for short or extended stays. Each space has its own private entrance and bathroom. Our B&B rooms all have small fridges, microwaves, and a lavish Continental breakfast is included. Each room has it's own massage chair and foot massager. Pool and sauna facilities are available to all guests, privately. Our Guest House sleeps up to 4 with a sleeper/sofa in the living room. The Moon River room ($150/nt) also sleeps 4 with a sleeper sofa. The East Wing is a spacious, romantic suite with fireplace and all night access to the pool. The Palace Above is the only part of the house on the second story, so has a private outside stairway with a screened in patio. It's our newest room, very fresh, and rather fanciful. Please call with any questions or for group rates.

Charming vintage apartment for comfort lovers

While my house undergoes renovation, I needed a place to stay, and found true comfort in this property. The owner maintains very high standards of cleanliness and order, while providing for the utmost in comfortable appointments. Pillows, linens, and kitchen furnishings are all first class. A true home away from home, and the location couldn't be more convenient. There is one flight of stairs which would make access difficult for some.
