We run family owned and operated vacation rentals on Atlantic Avenue, Wells Beach. Our beach apartments, some with ocean views, are clean, comfortable, fully equipped and only 30 seconds from your door to a beautiful white, sandy beach. Enjoy long walks, swimming, surfing and sunbathing. Enjoy the backyard area for grilling, outdoor dining and lounging. Our 'upper luxury unit' is a spacious top floor apartment with some ocean views. It has one bedroom with a queen-bed and a loft with a double bed. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and has a microwave and dishwasher. There is a open concept dining and living area with cable TV and pull-out sofa bed, A/C, 4 person maximum, parking for 2 cars. (Ladder to loft is not suitable for small children). Our one and two bedroom units have fully equipped kitchens with full size appliances. Dining areas, living rooms with cable TV and a pullout sofa bed. Bedrooms have different combinations of queen, double and twin beds.Fenced yard.

Off season rates based on two persons: Please inquire. Allows 4 person maximum, 2 parking spaces per 2 bedroom apartment. Parking for Seascape residents only. Off season rates are based on two persons. Extra charges apply per extra person when approved by management.

We run a small family owned business. We take pride in providing very clean and comfortable accommodations.As owners, we are on sight and available to our quests. Seascape is registered as a small business with the Town of Wells, Maine.

Why Laura & Kevin Cantin chose Wells

Our location is ideal...only 30 seconds to the beach! Our quests do not have to worry about driving to the public beach parking lots and paying daily fees.Different from some areas in Ogunquit and Moody that have rocky beach fronts, we have a nice sandy beach. You can walk a mile in either dirrection. Our home and office is just across the street from the rental property so we are always available to our guests. The Downeaster train is located just a couple of miles away at the Wells Transportation. You can park and take the train to Boston for the day or head north to Portland or downtown Freeport for some great outlet shopping.

What makes this condo unique

It is just steps to nice sandy beach, away from public beach parking lots. We have fully equipped kitchens. Shop at large super market just a mile away and cook at your place or grill in backyard! Walk to nearby snack bar for lobster rolls, fried clams, hamburgers and hot dogs and ice cream. Walk to beach market for coffee and newspapers, t-shirts and beach toys. Walk or drive just a half mile to famous Billy's Chowder House scenic restaurant and bar. The Downeaster train is located just a couple of miles away at the Wells Transportation. You can park and take the train to Boston for the day or head north to Portland or downtown Freeport for some great outlet shopping.

Beach Access is Great!

We stayed in one of the smaller units that are not described in this advertisement. It was a little different than this picture - there are actually two buildings with multiple apartments. The building we stayed in was not pictured in the promotions, but on a nearby side street.That being said, it's literally a stone's throw from the public access to the beach. We loved the convenience of being so close!! The apartment itself is a good bargain for the space you get. We had two bedrooms (one Queen and one Full), a dining room kitchen combo with full sized appliances, and a small living room. Be warned, this is by no means a luxury apartment. The furniture is old and worn (most of it looks like it came from a yard sale) and the apartment itself is old - pretty dated interior. BUT, it was clean and for the high season, it was a reasonable price. There were three adults and one infant staying there, and we felt it was a little tight, but manageable. It's also a nice part of the beach. Don't confuse this for Moody Beach (also in the Wells) which is closer to Ogunquit. They are similar, but during high tide, Wells Beach is harder to walk on. There's less beach exposed, but again, this location is literally across the road, so you can always walk over check it out and walk back if it's not a good time. We usually come in the fall and stopped in at Ogunquit beach one day just to see it. There were literally thousands of people crammed into a small space. We were happy we chose to stay where we did! I'd recommend this place if you are looking for easy beach access and need a little extra space than a hotel room, or if you need a kitchen like we did.

Owner's Response: My husband and I have been renting for 20 years and have never had any complaints. Approximately 85% of our renters are return guests. The woman who wrote the review saw me often during her week stay here in August and she seemed quite content. She paid rock bottom price for 2 adults and 2 teens. The unit had a full kitchen and was less than one minute walk to beach. The place is clean and comfortable. Had she voiced her discontentment, we would have refunded her in full.

Nous étions situés au rez-de-chaussée du duplex blanc. L'aménagement n'est pas récent, mais très propre. Il ne manque de rien. Pas très bien isolé pour le bruit des voisins au-dessus, mais on entend les vagues de la mer, ce qui nous fait oublier ce petit détail! Excellente proximité de la plage, des petits magasins et restaurants. Très pratique pour les familles. Cour arrière confortable et agréable pour préparer le souper sur le BBQ. Lits très confortables.

You can walk one mile north or south on the beautiful sandy beach. Surf the waves, swim or sunbath. Walk one block to beach market, playground, arcade, or to snack bar and ice cream shop! And only one mile to mini-golf! There are guided Kayak tours, sunset and light house cruises, deep sea fishing and whale watching. Walk the trails at the nearby wild life refuge. Golf by the sea. Try Seacoast Fitness exercise - 1 mile down the road. Shop just minutes away at New England's largest outlet mall. Check out the many antique shops and art galleries. Enjoy trolley rides and visit the quaint border towns of Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. There are fabulous restaurants to choose from - the lobster pound, the clam shack and steak and chowder houses to gourmet by the sea! Come join us!
