Wonderful Summer Getaway

We rented this place for a week at the end of summer. We had a wonderful relaxing time. With several children, it was far enough away from the water to let them play without standing right overtop of them. But since it is on an island, there was plenty of water veiws also. The kids loved being able to see the huge boats that would pass periodically each day. The grown-ups loved the piece and quiet. I was 8 months pregnant and could not have had a more perfect week to end out nine long months. It was so relaxing that everyone, even the kids wanted to lay down and take a nap in the afternoon and just listen to the waves crash against the shore. It is a very open floor plan home and it has several sliding glass doors that allow for sitting on the two huge decks. If you want a quiet vacation away from it all, there is no doubt- this should be your number 1 choice.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. I am there right now and feel the same way although I did miss the afternoon nap as we painted the interior walls today. I do love it here and I am glad you enjoyed your visit.
