In-town cottage just a few minutes stroll along residential sidewalks to center of Bar Harbor Village with its great restaurants, shops and Island Explorer free shuttle bus route. Also close enough for comfortable walk or bike ride to Acadia National Park entrance at 1 mile and carriage roads at 2 miles. Nearby YMCA, Parks, Community wading pool, playground and tennis courts all in the neighborhood. Cottage first floor is living room, kitchen, den and bathroom. Washer/Dryer in cottage. Patio doors opening onto covered back deck with propane Grill and private yard. Two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Fantastic Farmer's Market in YMCA parking lot every Sunday through Mid October featuring fresh local offerings.

Each bus can also transport a few bikes. Bar Harbor provides a lively downtown scene with shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities for all tastes.

My son, daughter and son-in-law stayed here with their dog
on a family vacation last August. Their experience was great-the house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owner, Linda, was a delight to work with. We chose the property becasue it was pet friendly and walk to town. I, and the rest of our family stayed on a neighboring street so it was easy for us to gather--we most often gathered at this house for lobsters etc because of it's "comfortableness". I had booked this as an Xmas gift to my children and they loved it.

PERFECT HOUSE WITH ALL YOU NEED AND MORE!!!

The house was really great. It was big enough for our family with all the necessities you would need. It is on a quiet residential street near the local Y. The house is newly renovated with thought put into everything from the Wifi and tv to the personal paintings on the wall. The kitchen has all you need. The living room is cozy with a nice reading room and a good library of books and dvds. They also had toys and board games for the little ones.The backyard patio is larger than the pictures show and was nice to have our meals out there. This is close to Acadia and to town. Overall a nice experience.

Great House! Great Location!

My husband and I spent a week here in August/Sept 2009. We were impressed how cosy and comfortable and clean the house was. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We were able to park our car for the week and just walk or bike into town and catch the Bus. We plan on coming again next year! Gotta come back for those popovers at the Jordan Pond House!

Great location. Close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Also, close enough to ride our bikes into Acadia. The cottage were very clean and comfortable. Thank you. Scott and Mary.
