Our dining room seats 8 people and kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped.
You'll be on a 2° top floor (no elevator) of an ancient florentine building.
Although in the heart of the most lively downtown area, it's totally noisless and located truly a step away from every Renaissance Florence's beauty.
We just returned from 2 glorious weeks in Florence. There were 5 of us, ages 32 - 65. The apartment was everything we hoped for. It is large, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped. February was cold, but we could adjust the heat in the apartment so we were always warm. Located right over Santa Trinita bridge just a block from Piazza Santo Spirito in the Oltrarno neighborhood, the apartment is perfectly situated for walking to everything, but away from the large crowds typical in Florence. The climb up the steps to the apartment (66 steps) was daunting at first, but we came to appreciate it and look forward to it after eating our way through Florence each day! Rosamaria provided lists of places to eat, shop and visit. She promptly answered all emails and/or calls, even though she was in New York for business while we were there. Once, when we locked ourselves out of the apartment, her husband graciously came right over (they live nearby) to let us in. Book this apartment - you will be glad you did!
The moment we walked into this beautiful apartment we were thrilled. The place is much bigger than it looks and the ceilings are high with wonderful details and great furnishings throughout. It is located in my favorite part of Florence where you can see high-end artisans working away in their shops. It was a wonderful place to return to after exploring Florence.
Three couples shared this wonderful flat with great amenities and had a great week together. The rooms are elegant yet comfortable and enjoyed the location just a couple of blocks from from the Ponte Veccia. I would heartily recommend this flat to any and all renters.
The location was perfect! Just across the Bridge Santo Spirito Bridge. Very easy to walk everywhere including the 10 min walk to the train or bus station. Near amazing restaurants and shopping. Now for the Apartment, It was much larger in person than the pictures.
very clean and relaxing. It felt like home after a long day of site seeing. Rosamaria, was very gracious and helpful, giving us a fruit basket and wine when we arrived with lot's of tips on places to eat and visit. She even made arrangements for our taxi back to the airport. Would diffidently recommend this apartment for your trip to Florence and a great home base for Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Senia good day trips.
We enjoyed 2 weeks in this wonderful apartment, which is at least as lovely as the photos. We were 4 adults, 25-65 years old and we all loved it. The apartment is perfectly located on a side street near the Piazza Santo Spirito, a lively, authentic neighborhood center. The Oltarno area is a real neighborhood and less crowded than the other side of the Arno, which is less than a 10 minute walk away. It offers the best of both worlds. We walked everywhere: to the historic sites, the delicious neighborhood restaurants and bakeries, and the grocery store for daily items. It was easy to cook in the apartment's nice kitchen with modern appliances. We actually liked being on the top floor of the 17th century building, despite the absence of an elevator. There is a lot of street noise in Florence and it's good to be above it. After a few days we were used to the climb up and down the stairs and hoped it would offset our delicious meals and the gelato.
Rosamaria is a wonderful host: welcoming, accessible, and respectful of her guests' privacy. She was really helpful with baggage problems that were daunting with the language barrier and limited airport assistance. I can't say enough nice things about her and this apartment. Wish I were still there! I highly recommend it.
The apartment is as nice as the pictures and very spacious. We stayed here with our 2 grown children and their partners and there was plenty of space. The location is great- near lots of restaurants and a supermarket and very convenient to get to all the Florence sites. Rosamaria is very gracious and helpful. The property we went to after this did not work out and we recontacted Rosamaria and luckily were able to return to the apartment for the rest of our stay. We recommend this property highly.
