This was my second time renting an apartment in Italy through VRBO.
After narrowing my search (needed 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and wanted the Vatican area) I read all the reviews and decided on this one.
It was just perfect for my friend and myself.
Bruno the owner was great to work with ... paid my deposit on PayPal.
Arrived in Rome via the train ... got to the apartment around 7PM.
Bruno greeted us with a big smile and showed us around the apartment.
Suggested a couple of restaurants for us. There is a full service grocery store 2 minutes from the apartment. After a trip to stock up on wine, water and munchies - we were set!
Suggestion ... take your own shopping bags especially if you are getting lots of wine :)!
Bruno had some fruit and sparkling wine. Full kitchen with everything you need.
We stayed in 2 nights and cooked - as we had early appointments for our tours.
It's a 5 minute walk to St Peters Square and the Vatican.
Bruno also arranged a driver for us - had a Food Tour and then to take us to the airport.
Apartment was absolutely spotless.
Thank you again Bruno for all of your help and being the most gracious host!
Our stay was wonderful. There were 5 of us. Mr.Bruno is a generous, cheerful, helpful host, that made our stay comfortable, easy and special. The apartment is so clean, and pleasant. Yes, you are only minutes away from everything you need, and the walk is enjoyable, with gelato stands along different routes! I highly recommend this apartment and owner.
My husband and I stayed in this apartment the entire two weeks we were in Rome. It is a large and open stylish apartment with windows that gleam with the romantic sunshine of Rome. You are within a 15 minute walk to the Vatican and St. Angelo Castle. The metro system is easily reached within a 15 minute walk. There are many restaurants, coffee shops, pastry shops, clothes shops and wonderful markets just outside your door. This apartment has everything you need as if you were still at home. It was wonderful to come back here after a long day of site seeing. You can feel very safe in this neighborhood. Bruno is very accommodating and gracious. He even had a bowl of fresh fruit on the dining table upon our arrival. You will not find a better location and apartment for your money. This was our second trip to Rome and we will surely stay here again and recommend this apartment to anyone we know who is considering traveling to Rome.
My husband and I stayed in this apartment for the entire two weeks we were in Rome. This apartment is very spacious and clean and everything that is listed on the site. Bruno was very accommodating and gracious. You have everything you need in this apartment as if you were living at home (even a scale to weigh your luggage for your return trip). Bruno had a bowl of fresh fruit waiting for us upon our arrival. We explored Rome every day, walked much and it was a joy to come back to such a bright and cheery apartment with italian style It is close to metro line "A" (10-15 minute walk) which connects you to line "B" to get you to all of the grand sites. You are within walking distance to the Vatican, Castle St. Angelo, many beautiful shops, restaurants, a fresh market and PAM grocery store. The street Via Ottaviano will take you to the metro line "A" and has many shops for you to look at. We even took time in the evening to just sit on the corner near our building to just people watch. The italian people are very friendly and helpful. Please enjoy the cafe across the street for a fresh cup of cappacino every morning, its wonderful! We will highly recommend this apartment to our friends and anyone else we encounter that is thinking of staying in Rome. Buon giorno!

Beautiful, spacious, luminous apartment. My husband, son, father and myself stayed here for 6 nights. We loved the apartment. Located in a very nice neighbourhood with tons of great restaurants in the area and the best ice cream in Rome just a block away. The supermarket is just half a block, and a great produce market one block from the house. Also a good bakery across from the market, plus inside the market we found great bread also. The metro station is 10 minutes walking, as well as several bus stops. The area is very safe at night. Great clothes and shoe shopping just around the corner. Plus the owner, Bruno, is a true Roman gentleman. He left water, wine, fruit, and cheese for us. We hope to come back one day.
The apartment is located in the Prati area near St. Peter's and the Vatican Museums and Castel Sant'Angelo.
The apartment is easily accessible by subway line A and the area is served by many bus.
The district is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Rome, there are many shops and supermarkets.
