Only 2 blocks to Folly Beach's shops, restaurants and pier. The home was specifically designed for your vacation with a vaulted great room, elevator, friendly kitchen and 4 sets of French doors spanning the front of home to maximize the view. Front master bedroom and loft have ocean views. Large front covered porch with hammock, BBQ & patio furniture. Sundeck for private sunbathing. This elevated home has a large fenced back yard that is perfect for pets. (Our Great Dane and his playmate visit in the off season and they love it!).

Additional information about rental rates

  • Spring / Summer:Monday to Monday schedule. Check in is 3:00pm. Check out is 10:00am.
  • To secure the reservation: 1/2 (one-half) the rent is due within 7 (seven) days of the reservation date. When the owner receives the reservation funds, the reservation will be held until close of business on the Friday preceding 30 days before check in. Cancellation: After a reservation is made, the reservation funds are non-refundable. If the owner re-books the home then the reservation funds may be refunded.
    Final payment: The rental balance, including sales tax (11.5%), security deposit(s), cleaning fee, and remaining rent is due to the owner in full, no later than close of business on the Friday preceding 30 days before check in. For example: For a July 14th check in, the final rental balance is due to the owner no later than the close of business on June 13th. Time is of the essence. Cancellations can be hard to re-book at full price as the check in date approaches. Owner reserves the right to cancel reservations without a refund if full payment is not received on time.
  • How to compute rental cost: Base rental rate (above) + $100 Cleaning + 11.5% tax.
    Example: a $900.00 base rate + $100.00 Cleaning + 11.5% Tax = $1,115.00 Total Cost.
    Linen service (fitted and flat sheets, pillow cases, bath and hand towels and wash cloths) - Optional for an additional $85.00.

    There is a separate Fully Refundable Security Deposit (with no pets) = $500.00
    OR - a separate Fully Refundable Security Deposit (with approved pet) = $650.00

  • Three of the four main floor bedrooms have a 1/2 bath attached to the bedroom. The fourth bedroom shares the powder room with the great room. There are two dedicated rooms for bathing in the house. One is a tile shower with a hand shower and bench. The other is a tub/shower combination.

Notes: Main floor: 4 queens; loft: 4 twins. Elevator, outdoor shower, covered porch and large sun deck with ocean view and hammock, direct access to ocean. Great parking! One of the FEW homes on Folly Beach with a drive way that connects the front and back entrances to the lot. You can pull under the home from the ocean side and drive out through the back of the property. Much easier for several cars to park, come and go without other guests having to move vehicles to allow people to leave.

Why this home over others at Folly Beach?: This home was specifically designed for your vacation! The owner chose the lot and house plan with your family in mind. It's on the West side of Folly Beach where there's less traffic and noise, but only 2 1/2 blocks - easy walking distance - to the restaurants, shops, pier, etc., on Center Street. The home is 2nd row with an ocean view and direct access to the beach. We are PET FRIENDLY and have an ELEVATOR (great for easy unpacking and settling in after a long trip - or for any guest not able to climb stairs). The home is also great for anyone using a wheel chair, with extra wide doors to one master bedroom, bathroom and shower. And , unlike front beach and most 2nd row homes on Folly, this home has wonderful parking. There is room for 3 cars under the home and room for 5 more cars on the driveways. Also unusual for a Folly vacation rental is the fenced in back yard. It's shaded by the house - a great place for everyone to relax out of direct sunlight.

Sunbathing with sun burnt friends?: You'll love our sun and shade deck. It's large enough to spread out and get just the right tan. And the trees surrounding it add some nice privacy from street traffic. For guests who had a little too much sun the day before, the covered part of the deck provides welcome relief. Hang out on the patio furniture or in the hammock and recuperate without missing any of the conversation!

What a fabulous house!!

This house was perfect! The layout was great with the number of guests we had joining us- we were at Folly to get married, so had several guests stay over. There was plenty of room for everyone! The location is just a short walk from Center Street (downtown) with all of the restaurants and shops. Most of the restaurants offered live music and that was great! But, because of the location, we didn't have to drive anywhere! There is a large front porch (sundeck), a back porch (with a grill!), and a huge backyard fenced it- perfect for pets! There was plenty of room for parking- we actually at one point had 9 cars in the driveway- not to mention ample roadside parking. The property is directly across of the 3rd Street beach access, which was super convienent, and also had plenty of parking. There was a loft on the inside- with 4 twin (bunk style) beds that the kids absolutley loved, because it overlooked the den and kitchen below. Everything was really clean and the furniture and decor was really up to date and trendy! We loved it, and will definitely want to stay here again.

The location was great and exactly what it said, across the street and with privacy while on the balcony. I appreciated that the balcony had a gate so my pets could stay up there and not worry about them going down. We also loved having the elevator to haul all our luggage and coolers up.
The walk to Center Street was nice and the only time we needed our car was to go to Downtown Charleston.

We have visited Folly Beach many of times and wanted to rent a house this time and are very glad that we did!!
Our dogs enjoyed walking on the beach and it was great to have a fenced in yard for them to roam in also!
We will most definatley look at staying there again.

Things I would recommend bringing:
Linens, Towels, Bug spray or candles, normal necessities

I also would recommend going to see the Folly Beach Bluegrass Society at Center Street Kitchen on Thursdays!

While not directly on the beach, it is a great location as you just walk across the street to get to the beach. There were 12 of us and the place fit us all very comfortably, including our 2 small dogs. The fenced in back yard is a plus and the 2 1/2 block walk into town was very doable. A few minuses - no closet in one of the rooms and loft, plus a very large desk upstairs in the loft, which took up half the space! Also, no remote control for the downstairs great room t.v. We had to change the channels the old fashion way! Overall, we would return to for another stay.
