Modern Oversized Cape 1 mile to Craigville Beach

Our trip to Cape Cod was made more enjoyable because of Bill and Patty's home. The listing description was accurate. The home was perfect for our family of nine! Everyone had a place to relax and enjoy each other's company. And after a day filled with excursions, the home was large enough for everyone to rest. The first floor bedroom was perfect for our grandparents.
The outdoor deck was nice for sunbathing and the kitchen was well equipped for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Although it rained in the beginning of our stay for two days (Sunday, Monday) the sun came out and we went to the beach (Craigville Beach), the outdoor shower at home was a nice way to finish a beach day.
And the home is very close to Hyannis, (10 minute) drive and Craigville Beach (3 minute) drive.
If you have small children, we highly recommend Kalmus Beach. Just stay on the Bay Side.

My family and friends enjoyed a wonderful week at the Cape while staying at the Watson's beautiful rental property in Hyannis. The listing description was exactly as described, and in fact even better in person. I was impressed with how the house was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and had everything we would need for a week away. Contact with the Watsons was always pleasant and they addressed any questions or concerns we had almost immediately. In our group of 10, we had young children, teenagers and adults. The house was big enough to give everyone their own space but still provided areas for all of us to be together. The back deck was very spacious and served as a great gathering area. We also utilized the cellar on many occasions. There were many toys housed there for the kids to play with and we all enjoyed playing ping pong at one time or another. The outside shower was popular with everyone, especially the teenagers. The wireless internet worked perfectly and we had no problems. The location of the house allowed us to quickly access all the shopping, dining, and activities we were interested in. The Watsons also shared with us a good deal of information about the area and offered many suggestions of things to take advantage of. With this rental we had access to a small park which is behind a barrier island on Nantucket Sound. There is a boat ramp, some benches and a small jetty that the kids can hunt for crabs in. We utilized this area many times and it was especially enjoyed by my friend's family and her two small children... just a calm, quiet, picturesque area. I would highly recommend this rental for a perfect vacation on the Cape!

Ten close family members (2 of us were under 2 years old and in pack and plays) spent a lovely week at the end of June in this clean, comfortable house. The house is great for young kids with a private yard, safe layout, and big deck. Also, there were lots of sand toys, a plastic kiddie pool, a pack and play and a stroller at the house. The beach pass that is included was perfect because we were only at the beach for a limited time each day with the kids and parking fees can really add up. However, a big plus is that the beach is also walkable from the house and there is a sidewalk that is in good shape along the road going to beach, making it a safe walk or bike ride to the beach. We had perfect weather the week we were there with a high of 80s and low of 65 most days. It did get warm in the 3 upstairs bedrooms during the kids mid-day naps. But, there are 2 room AC units in the closets and we installed them in 2 of the 3 bedrooms, which helped cool things down. The rest of the house stayed relatively cool and ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms and the dining room helped to keep the fresh air circulating that came in off the back deck in the evenings.
