Newly renovated Air-Conditioned Sconset Center cottage for two. Charming, fresh, and comfortable, beautifully decorated and immaculate! Spacious 'great room' furnished with queen bed, dining room table and ladder back chairs, and other country antiques; cable television; telephone answering machine; fully equipped kitchen, including microwave, disposal, and washer/dryer; private brick terrace with furniture and Weber grill. Very nice! Perfect for a honeymoon or a restful week right in Sconset Center! NOW BOOKING FOR THE 2010 SEASON!!!

My wife and I spent a week at Right Bank. It is very comfortable, with a kitchen, bath and a great room which serves as a livingroom, bedroom and dinning area. It is located in Sconset, which we consider to be the most desirable part of Nantucket, particularly if you enjoy a serene location. The cottage is well maintained and recently decorated. It is within a few blocks to the beach, general store and post office. There are two nice resturants also within a few blocks. It is a great place to walk and loads of rose covered cottages. I would recommend a car as Sconset is about 10 miles from downtown Nantucket.

Quiet getaway

This was a wonderful, relaxing getaway location. It's picturesque and quiet in this part of the island, at least in mid-September when we were there. No views of the ocean, but you are in easy walking distance to the beach. This cottage is very well-kept, nicely decorated, renovated, comfortable and cozy. It's small, but it provides everything you need for a home-away-from-home, including a little washer and dryer. The kitchen is narrow but new, clean, and fairly well-equipped for cooking "at home," which is very helpful considering the high prices of Nantucket eateries. If you don't have a car, plan accordingly--it's at least 10 miles back to the main town for restaurants, grocery stores, and shops, and there are very few places to eat in walking distance, especially when the summer season ends. The owner was pleasant and professional to work with, and he makes sure the property is well taken care of, including by those who rent it. The biggest "minus" was that the bed pillows were rather lumpy and thin, so consider bringing your own if this is important to you. Otherwise, we would definitely recommend this cottage for a couple who wants a quiet vacation escape.

Lovely rental

My husband and I recently spent a week at Right Bank. The great room is spacious and comfortable with a queen bed, dresser, armoire, and dining table. The full kitchen was a real plus with a roomy fridge and all the amenities (oven, microwave, plenty of cooking utensils). A perfect location just steps away from the bus, general store, and restaurants. With the windows open you can hear the nearby surf. No car required if you're there when the buses are running (if you're there off-season, you will want a vehicle). This is a great rental if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing stay in the most beautiful part of the island.
