Description of the Monomoy vacation cottage rental

Adorable two bedroom/ two bath cottage located in a village-like setting, a 15 minute walk to downtown, a 9 minute walk to the beach. House completely redone in April, new appliances, linens, cable TV, VCR and CD player. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker and other conveniences. Outdoor sitting area under a mature tree surrounded by well-maintained landscape. Two off-street parking spaces. Convenient to shopping, restaurants and shuttle bus stop.

Location


Two bike paths at front door will take you either to the picturesque village of Sconset or to the most popular Nantucket beach at Surfside. The beach can also be reached via shuttle bus that stops nearby. The town is an easy 15 minute walk or 5 minute shuttle bus ride away. There you can enjoy numerous shops and restaurants, museums, library or many art galleries. At the wharves you can sign up for fishing trips or join many available bus or taxi tours of the island. If you like quiet enjoyment of nature, you can slip out the back door of the cottage and walk to a nature preserve in the bogs along Monomoy Road.
