Relax on two elevated 47 foot wood decks overlooking a cascading stream directly below you in the Wild Acres section of beautiful Maggie Valley. Situated at about 3400 feet you will enjoy the sounds of a stream and waterfall a few yards away. You are surrounded by lush vegetation, with mountain views in the distance.

This very spacious home has Cathedral ceilings, a wood burning 20 foot high stone fireplace, full dining room and well equipped eat-in kitchen. Every bedroom has a magnificent view and it's own cable TV and DVR. The Master bedroom on the main floor and living room have direct access to the deck through French doors. Two high ceilinged bedrooms and a loft with a comfortable Queen size sofa bed are upstairs. The home is centrally located up the hill from the heart of Maggie Valley.

You have accessibility on state maintained roads to restaurants and attractions.

This home is located in Maggie Valley surrounded by golf courses, fishing spots, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, waterfalls, the Great Smoky Mountain Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway , all within about 5 miles. The Cataloochee Ski Resort is about 10 minutes away as is Waynesville and numerous local restaurants and attractions. By car, the city of Asheville and the beautiful Biltmore Estate is approximately 30 minutes away.

The Cherokee Indian Reservation and a large Casino are about 20 minutes drive. Within an hour drive is Dollywood, Gatlinburg, in Tennessee.

Great Home away from home

Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us . We were impressed with all your top guality furnishings all new appliances well stocked kitchen,location,view,sound of the waterfall.Foliage was at 100% and beautiful,I also have a photo of 11Turkeys just past driveway. It is great to see a property as presented on the web and well maintained

Beautiful Mountain Home

This is a spectacular mountain home. We have stayed at many rental homes in the Maggie Valley area and find that this home had everything you might need from casserole dishes and tableware to fluffy towels, books, videos and anything else we were used to having at home. The home is in excellent condition, extremely clean and is certainly everything you see in the ad and more.

We saw the whole herd of elk in the Park and a huge buck laying among the trees on the hill.

We certainly recommend this home to a couple or to a family or three couples who want a get away with friends.

Don't miss the Asheville Farmer's market. Their fresh veggies are soooo much better than the grocery store.

Great Vacation Getaway

The house was everything that was promised. It was very comfortable and homey. The location was great and cetrally located to the surrounding attractions. The owner was very easy to deal with. Everything went smoothly. We loved the Biltmore and Nantahala Outdoor Center
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: White water rafting is only about 30 minutes away driving west, and Asheville and the Biltmore Mansion is about 30 minutes east.
We are happy that our guests enjoyed their stay and hope they return to stay with us again.

A Great place!

This spacious home is great. Although it is up the mountain about a mile off the main road, it is well worth it. It is very secluded from other homes, it is a beautiful view of the mountains. The house itself is very comfortable and has lots of room. I would totally recommend it to anyone! It has easy access to Maggie Valley and Lake Junaluska.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Great Weekend

THe place is definitely like described! Family oriented. Very quiet. You could not even hear the shower from one floor to the other. Extremely clean and the owners were wonderful to deal with.
