This superb fully furnished luxury townhouse was built in 2003 on an exclusive urbanisation in Nerja, Costa del Sol. The townhouse is on three levels: ground floor living area comprising: spacious lounge diner with satellite (Sky)TV , leading to a furnished sun terrace, a modern fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer. A handy downstairs toilet The first floor comprises: a double bedroom with large built in wardrobes and balcony, one twin bedroom and a shower room with toilet. The large private rooftop solarium has sun beds, a shower and wonderful panoramic views of Nerja, the sea and mountains. Guests have use of the communal pool and the house is air-conditioned. The house has its own large secure basement garage which is available only for house guests for parking & storage of beach articles.

The local area consists of low rise apartments and residences, a mixture of typically Spanish haciendas and Andalusian style buildings. Within an 8 minute walk is the main beach of Burriana, however there are five beaches to choose from in Nerja. Burriana beach is about 1 km long and has areas of sun beds, children’s play areas, beach volley ball, water sports, paracending, canoing, including a diving club. An adventure shop on the beach arranges, jeep and horse rides, mountain trailing etc. Showers & toilets are on the beach edge. Adjacent to the beach are restaurants serving food all day & into the night. Several small supermarkets & gift shops are nearby. Our house is about 15 minute walk from Nerja town centre or 5-7 minute drive. The unique mix of Spanish, English and other European holiday-makers gives Nerja a wonderful continental feel.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates quoted are for the house. A maximum of 4 persons only. An extra bed for small children can be arranged if this is required. A separate charge for this will be made. Deposit of 25% of total rental to be paid within seven days to secure booking. Balance payable 8 weeks before departure together with a deposit of £100 to cover any damages (This is refundable on receipt of the keys once you have returned). The keys & directions will be sent to you once all monies have been received. There are no hidden charges (e.g. electricity) If your holiday overlaps the rental charge bands, the cost will be charged proportionally for the days in each band. Discounted rates for long winter lets. Details on application. All payments can be paid in Euros or Sterling. We can accept payments by credit card in Sterling only. Special Rates are available for Xmas & New Year. Pick-up, drop-off at Malaga Airport can be arranged at extra cost. Please call or request any special pricing/dates not listed.

Notes: In our modern townhouse, which is built in a typical Andalusian style, there are marble tiled floors and staircases. Ceiling fans and air conditioning units are installed in the rooms. The bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. Hot water is provided via an immersion heater. The shower room and toilets are tiled to the ceilings with all mod cons. The furniture is a combination of typical Spanish style and modern with a leather suite in the lounge. Seating is for six at the large dining table. The lounge balcony has a table & four chairs for eating alfresco. A large sun blind can be wound down if necessary. The rooftop terrace has views of mountains and the sea. Sun lounger’s are also provided here with a shower and washing line at the rear. An extra bed suitable for a small child can be provided. There is a lockup garage in the basement. A breakfast welcome pack is provided on your arrival.

Nerja: Nerja is an un-commercialised holiday town in Andalusia 55 km east of Malaga on the Costa del Sol. Nerja lies at the foot of the Sierra Almijara Mountains giving a scenic backdrop to the Town. Nerja is a typical Spanish town yet caters for tourists with several tranquil beaches with cafes, bars and many excellent restaurants, some on the waters edge. There are lots of modern shops, boutiques and supermarkets in Nerja and a large local market on Tuesdays. Palm trees and flowers line the main plaza in the old town where one may stroll, sit in a cafe or watch the street performers or just view the sunset from the famous Balcony of Europe. Nerja's micro climate provides over 325 days of sunshine per year. In the winter daytime temperatures seldom falls below 10 deg C. In the summer 11 hours of sunshine per day are expected with midday temperatures in the 30's C. All year round is holiday-time in Nerja and you will come back !

Surrounding Area: Nerja lies close to the N340 coastal motorway giving speedy access to most of the Costa del Sol, Marbella, Gibraltar, Benalmadena and Malaga can all be visited for a comfortable day trip. Within 15 minutes drive are many interesting places to visit not least the famous Caves of Nerja said to be the largest in Europe. Concerts are held in the caverns. Close at hand is the ancient Moorish village of Frigliana which is preserved as if time stood still in the 15th Century with its white walls and cobbled streets. Frigliana has local wine tasting and also mountain trails for hill ramblers who want a more energetic pastime. In the summer weekly concerts and festivals are held by the local villagers. A new golf course Baviera Golf is situated at Caleta de Velez also nearby. In the winter months within two hours drive of Nerja ski resorts are open near Granada in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and of course the fantastic Alhambra Palace is also near Granada.

This is our third year running and we are booked again for 2009. The house is very new and beautifully furnished It is situated minutes from the beach pictured above which has so many restaurants you are spoilt for choice the main town of Nerja is a short distance and can be walked to along the clifftop.One added surprise on arrival is the welcome pack with enough food and drink to keep you going for a day or so. One of the great attractions is the area no high rise buildings and just a few small hotels. The beach is safe with plenty of beds and free parking. Pam &John

We stayed for 2 weeks in July/Aug 2008. We had a fantastic holiday. The house is beautifully furnished and very comfortable and has absolutely everything you need.There is even a roof top terrace and plenty of outside funiture. Very quiet location and the swimming pool never gets crowded.
We loved the resort. It is plentiful for Restaurants and shops and nice walks. We went to the beach most days and were able to hire comfortable sunbeds. Very clean beach and waiter service. We hired a car and found lots to do re sight seeing, but the weather was so good we were able to enjoy it and relax. Thoroughly recommend accomodation and resort.
Owner's Response: Yes,the Burriana Beach area just been refurbished with new sunbeds, showers, changing huts & disabled runways. New play zone for kids and a new lifeguard watch tower.

Our Holiday in Burriana Beach

We stayed in this lovely holiday house in May '08. The house was very clean, modern and furnished to a high standard. The position was extremely good, we were able to walk to and from the beach and local, excellent restaurants. We took a couple of local excursions organised in the town, visited the spectacular caves and enjoyed visiting Nerja (especially on market day.) The welcome pack managed to last us for most of the week, suplimented with items from the local supermarket. We enjoyed eating either on the balcony or roof terrace, both of which had lovely views. We will definately use this property again and have already recomended it to friends.
Owner's Response: As owners now for a few years we have taken advantage of the many excursions available locally to other parts of Southern Spain, even travelling to Tangiers in North Africa for an amazing day out.

Stayed in Oct.08. Very clean and adaquate for holiday needs. Steep driveway, however, to the property, but fine if you have a car. This position gives good views from roof area. Local hotel has non-residents bar and cabaret, other local bars a short walk further on.
Beach area in opposite direction with various bars/restaurants. Easy walk down, uphill returning.
Overall pleasant town with enough going on, without being too intrusive.
Owner's Response: Our visitors book needs to be seen, stating how wonderful a holiday experience at our house is.
