Feel at home on Mt. Desert Island. Our 4 bedroom, 2 bath house is located in the quiet village of Seal Harbor. The house is furnished with cable TV, VCR, and DVD player, wireless internet access, a gas grill, and a washer and dryer. A large wrap-around porch includes a screened-in section and is perfect for relaxing or dining. Acadia National Park carriage roads and trails are virtually at your doorstep and the Village Green and town beach are a quarter-mile walk. Wildwood Stables is less than 1 mile. Bar Harbor shopping and dining are a 15 minute drive. We can offer information about restaurants, entertainment, and children's activities and we can recommend activities in the National Park to suit your interests.

First floor: kitchen, dining room, living room, bath, laundry area, 2 bedrooms one with double bed and one with two twin beds. Second floor: two bedrooms each with a double bed and a full bath.

Great location; funky furnishings

This house was a great location for easy access to Acadia NP -- hiking, biking, driving. Also, short drive to Northeast Harbor, where day cruises depart from.
Had lots of room, including a lovely porch.

However, the furnishings are mostly old -- like a first post-college apartment in the 1960s.
So, we would recommend for families.

Wonderful house and great landlords. House has absolutely everything one could want and owners are incredibly organized so everything is easy to find and if there is a question they will respond.
Blueberry muffins waiting for us. House is very spacious and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Walk to beach and few stores in town in one direction, walked to Jordan Pond house in the other direction. We hope to be back there next year.

It was perfect...Less then a mile to Wildwood stables where you can board your horse and ride the carriage trails and see the beautiful Acadia on horseback. The property was very clean and had every thing you could possibly need and more. The owner was very nice and welcomed us with a batch of homemade cookies and a map to the stables. I would higly recommend this property and hope that I can make it back this year.
