Based in the quiet pines of North Rehoboth, the house is a short walk or bike ride to the beach and boardwalk area. With 9 bedrooms, 10 Cookman is great for multi-family getaways or large family retreats. A separate In-Law Suite has two bedrooms, its own kitchen and a separate entrance, which is great for those who need some separation from the rest of the guests. Bring everyone together in the large dining room or retire to the large porch to enjoy the beautiful beach air. The house is walking/biking distance to the beach or downtown.

This lovely older home is in the heart of Rehoboth, just a couple of blocks from the ocean and downtown, so you can walk anywhere. My husband's siblings and all of our families stay here together for a week every other year. We've had at least 20-22 people staying at 10 Cookman and were all comfortable. It helps when everyone gets along! The nephews love to stay in the "basement apartment" with their own kitchen, living room and entrance to the outside. My only suggestion is to have better light-blocking drapes or curtains in the bedrooms--it can be really sunny in the mornings! We all love the long, skinny dining room. It fits 14 comfortably and is our gathering spot for board games in the evenings. The screened-in porch is also a favorite hang-out for breakfast and late-afternoon happy hour! If you're expecting the lap of luxury, this house is not for you. But it is clean, comfortable, and well lived in, and it suits our family just fine. There's nowhere else we would even rent in Rehoboth now that we've found 10 Cookman.
House had many positive - spacious, nice sunroom, extra fridge, tons of beach toys in shed, close to shops, gas grill. We had close to 30 adults and kids there and never ran out of hot water, too. But, the beds were awful - either rock hard or super bouncy. Basement showed signs of mold in corners. The kitchen could have been better stocked with food storage containers and lids for pots/pans. We would not bring our group here again.
