Exceptional restaurants in Scituate Harbor include historic Barker Tavern and scenic Mill Wharf. Widows Walk, top ranked golf course is close. Plymouth, where Pilgrims settlement offers Plymouth Plantation, recreation of Ougend Settlement and is 30 minutes away. Boston is one hour north, and the Cape is one hour south.

Simple yet comfortable

This is a cute cottage near Pegotty Beach. However, if you are looking for an upscale/updated/amenity packed stay, this may not be for you. The cottage is simple. Two bedrooms are downstairs - one has full bed, one has two twin; the third bedroom is upstairs - with three twin beds. One bath is downstairs with shower/tub, one bath is upstairs with shower/tub. The ocean view is very nice, especially from the second floor, however, the ocean is not accessible from the property. Pegotty Beach is a short walk down the road. (Be aware that a beach sticker is needed for parking at all Scituate beaches. No sticker can result in a fine or towing of vehicle at owner's expense). Scituate Harbor is about a 1/2 mile walk, with a grocery store, cinema, restaurants, ice cream shops and more. Golf course and train station are nearby with car.
