Photos and Description of the Truro vacation house rental
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Queen size sleeper couch

This is a lovely 2 story home with pine floors, cathedral ceilings, a working fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen. The ample bedrooms have plenty of closet space. There is a large deck off the back of the house with a gas grill and a picnic table.The house is well-appointed. Washer and dryer. Outdoor shower. Large fenced-in yard. There is a private neighborhood association beach just a short walk down the street or you can drive and park with the neighborhood permit. Long Nook Beach, Corn Hill Beach, Coast Guard Beach and Balston Beach are all 5 minute drive away.

Truro Historical Museum, Lighthouse, Payomet Theater and Highland Links Golf Course a 5 minute drive. Ponds and kayaking on the Pamet River all close by. Short drive to restaurants, farm stand, gourmet grocery, boat rentals. Provincetown a 15 minute drive; Wellfleet 15 minutes in the other direction. Both of these towns provide more restaurant, shopping and cultural options.

About Jennifer Shannon

We bought this lovely home in its final stage of construction. We lived in it for one year while doing a renovation on our home. It is a delightful, quiet neighborhood. We loved walking our dogs down the road to the private beach and taking long beach strolls on the bay. Since we moved out, we have rented it to vacationers. Having lived there for a year, we take pride in keeping it up and well-appointed for our guests.

If you love Truro and the environs this is the perfect house from which to base your vacation. We are family and pet friendly. Truro is 2/3 National Park and many of the paths and fire roads are nearby and perfect for hiking, biking, birdwatching, etc.

What makes this house unique

The private beach is a real asset. It is great for kids and family's as well as adult vacationers. The beaches in Truro are stunning and never too crowded. We have travelled extensively and believe that Truro features some of the world's most beautiful beaches and sunsets. The house well located to many of these beaches and other activities. It is comfortable and attractive. We have many return renters each year, which speaks highly of the property.

A private neighborhood assocaition bay beach is just one half a mile down Fisherman's Road. You will also be near many town and National Seashore beaches. There is lots of beautiful places to walk, swim, boat and bicycle. It is a 5 minute drive to the Truro Historical Museum, Highland Lighthouse, Payomet Theater and the world-renowned Highland Links Golf Course. Ponds and kayaking on Pamet River are close by. It is a short drive to restaurants,a local farm stand, gourmet groceries and boat rentals.In addition you will be a 15 minute drive either way to Wellfleet or Provincetown, both of which offer more options for restaurants, shopping and other cultural activities.

nice house with pleasant walk to the bay

The house looks even better than the pictures. It was in very good shape, very clean and comfortable. We had six adults, a six year old girl and a dog, with room for all. The kitchen was well equipped and the house had a very nice lay out. We appreciated the well fenced yard for our dog and granddaughter. But the best thing was the short walk to the bay beach, which was nearly deserted when we were there in late June. The location couldn't be better, close to town but not in it. And it was a short drive to Head of the Meadows beach where we watched the seals come in to fish in the late afternoon. We will go back.

Lovely, quiet house a short walk from the beach

This is a lovely house that looks in person exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is in a 'neighborhood' of two streets that form a loop and all of the houses have enough trees between them to make it feel fairly private. The calm bayside beach is a short walk or an extremely short drive down the same road the house is on. Both Wellfleet and Provincetown are easily accessible by car or by bike (though the shoulder is very narrow to Provincetown). The kitchen is very well equipped and the house was very clean when we arrived. The 'natural' state of the garden with grasses and shrubs was also quite charming. Although the web page lacks photos of the bathrooms, they are both quite up to date. The owner was very good about responding to emails and answering all of my questions. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

The house was clean and well maintained. We had children, dogs, parents, and grandparents and it was perfect and accommodating for all of us
We were 10 minutes to Provincetown which had lots of yummy places to eat and shopping and ICE CREAM STORES. For those of us who prefer quiet and could manage to stay behind when everyone else dashed off, my husband and I enjoyed the lovely house and peaceful setting. We would return to the sunny quiet bayside house without hesitation. THANK YOU
