Fantastic Experience

We had a superb rental experience! Not only was the cottage wonderful...just as described in the listing... comfortable, spacious, nicely appointed and thoughtfully equipped...but the grounds were lush, well-kept and just beautiful. The location was lovely...right on the water...although if you're not into nature, beaches, etc, and you'd rather not be in the lovely cottage much of the day, you may need to count on a bit of a drive out to the cape or into Boston to keep yourselves entertained (worth it but will take a whole day). There is a terrific beach, though. We visited Horsehead state beach two days before our departure and wished we'd had time to go back for several more visits.
The propietors were just great. Easily accessible by cell phone if you needed them, helpful in their instructions on how things worked or where things could be found, etc. Everything in the cottage was discretely labeled so you didn't have to do too much poking around to find things.
Only difficulty was the kitchen. Clean and orderly, but really only a "one-butt" affair and with little room for many pots, gadgets, etc and slim room for putting away groceries. So, if you're planning on gourmet cooking while there, plan on assigning the role to one of you and the others getting out of the way!! As listed, all condiments and other standard supplies were well-stocked.
We had a wonderful time at this charming cottage and you will most certainly, too!
