'Ski season is upon us! Killington is the best on the East Coast (in our opinion)! 200 trails, 31 lifts, and 87 miles of superior skiing. Great night-life, restaurants, sleigh rides, ice skating, and snowmobiling, among others. Don't ski? Sit by the fire, read a good book, have a Swedish massage, relax in the sauna or steam-room, or imagine the Caribbean while resting on a tanning bed! Most importantly, the greatest activity is simply relaxing. Don't forget to bring the newspaper you haven't had a chance to read... Quaint New England village of Woodstock only minutes away (shops, restaurants, antiques, strolling), and the town of Rutland is even closer offering commercial shopping (groceries, Wal-Mart, TJMaxx, etc..), the Vermont State Fair, among other events!

Amazing vacation

My husband and i rented this condo for a family reunion. The place was amazing and very luxurious. There was plenty of foom, it was quiet, the forest in the back was a great place to take the grandkids to explore. I found the exercise equipment in the spa outdated, but the pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool was exceptional. And everyone was so nice! We travel out east a lot and this was definately the most bang for our buck!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Even Better the Second Time!

Our second stay at the Haselman's condo was amazing. This time around, we decided to be more active and brought along another couple. We all took snowboarding lessons at the Ski School - instructor was awesome, snow was awesome, convenience and location were awesome (it's right there!)! We also brought up breakfast food and snacks, so we could utilize the great kitchen - all appliances are provided! Nothing tops coming back from the slopes to red wine, a cozy fireplace and a good soak in the jacuzzi tub!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Great place to stay. Very convenient to the mountain (5 minutes up the access road) and all restaurants. The huge indoor pool at the Spa gives another option for kids who need some time off from skiing.

We had a great weekend at this condo. The Haselman's were prompt, friendly, and did everything necessary to make our stay wonderful. The condo is luxurious, well furnished, and spotless. The condo clubhouse is definately 4 stars all the way.

This was one of the better vacations my family and I have had. The accomodations and surroundings at The Woods were beautiful. The scenery in summer is breathtaking. The kids loved the large indoor pool at The Woods Spa and basically lived in it. Several day trips including Montpelier, Cabot Cheese factory, Woodstock and Quechee were fun for everyone including my daughter (11 yrs) and son (6yrs). We're looking forward to coming back next year.
