Great little apartment

We stayed in this apartment for three nights -- two couples and a baby. It was very clean and comfortable, great beds, lovely kitchen. Convenient location - right on a major street but we were not at all bothered by noise. Close to downtown, easy drive to Biltmore and other attractions. It is nicely stocked with dishes, towels, linens, etc. - everything you need except bath soap, water pressure and wireless internet!
I would definitely recommend this apartment as a fairly economical alternative to downtown hotels, especially if two couples can share expenses. There are no "views" like you would find in a mountain cabin ... we wanted convenience, economy and a place to be with our family and this fit the bill perfectly. There is only one bathroom and the shower isn't great. But these were pretty minor inconveniences.
We loved Magnolia's for dinner. We were in town for a wedding so didn't eat out much other than that, but did enjoy the Corner Kitchen in Biltmore Village for lunch and Carmelo's (I think) for Sunday brunch.
You do have to climb some fairly steep stairs to go in and out, so not for those with disabilities. Definitely need a car. I don't know the policy on pets.

Owner's Response: We love comments from our guests and appreciate when folks take the time to share their experience with others. Currently we offer wired hi-speed internet access because the wireless was problematic. Thanks for the heads up on the water pressure, this is the first we've heard of the issue so we'll check it out right away. Well behaved pets are very welcome. We strive to provide clean, comfortable, fun accomodations for our guests and are pleased to offer alternative lodging for vistors to downtown Asheville conveniently located to all the mountains have to offer.
