We are a British family who moved to the Gers permanently in 2003 after 32 years of wandering from home to home in British Army
Mrs Jacky Laurie purchased this house in 2003
We bought this property as a ruin 18 years ago, for our permanent home, having had a smaller holiday home in a neighbouring village. We have lovingly restored it, then built the house that is now for rent alongside ours, for my mother, who has now gone back to the UK. Sadly at the grand old age of 93 it had become rather too big for her. The area is beautiful, has very friendly people. The weather is wonderful most of the time. The tranquillity and calm is fantastic it is away from the hustle and bustle of life but in an area that has plenty going on.
Tranquility, beautiful house, wonderful views of the mountains and countryside.
