A private, secluded one bedroom cabin in a serene wooded setting, yet only a four minute walk to the neighborhood park on beautiful, clear Lake Travis. The cabin has four air conditioned and heated rooms, including a bedroom featuring large windows overlooking a lovely, wooded hollow. The living room includes dining as well as chairs to relax in while enjoying a video or simply the restful silence. The kitchen is well furnished with a gas range and oven, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and a full set of cooking and eating utensils. The new washer and dryer make it easy and convenient to spend a week or a month. Free high speed wireless Internet is included. The full-length covered porch with a glider and gas grill provides a relaxing way to enjoy your private wooded hollow with it's many song birds. To reach the cabin, you'll have a short 35 minute drive west out of Austin through scenic hill country. Owners are nearby to answer questions or resolve any problems.

Swimming or boating from the neighborhood park is just a four minute walk from the cabin. The park has a wonderful 180 degree view of the lake with a boat ramp and a day dock. Great for skiers, fisherman, sailors, and the adventuresome. Golfers also have their choice of many area courses, including Willie Nelson's nearby course. For nightlife, Austin's famous Backyard music venue is only 20 minutes away, while 6th Street is just 15 minutes further in town.

    Sunday-Friday - $60/night, Saturday - $90/night, plus an $70 one time per rental cleaning fee.

    One night stays are OK, except major holidays, which require a 3 night minimum stay.

    High Season Example - 2 day weekend is $90+$120 + the $70 (cleaning fee) for a total of $280.

    50% deposit required to secure reservation with 80% refund of deposit if cancellation received two weeks prior to rental.

    Please add 6% state hotel tax, which is paid with balance at arrival. Balance and tax are normally paid with same credit card used for deposit, unless you request otherwise.

Please note that there is no lake view from the cabin, but everyone loves the peaceful tree-house like setting, and the lakeside park is a short 4 minute walk away. Sorry, no pets allowed

I know we all left a comment already. BUT, here it is Friday, and I am looking out the window thinking. . . I miss the cabin and quiet peace it gave us. I feel "homesick" for our little piece of heaven on earth. Our 3 girls loved it and our 3 year old thinks we bought the cabin and it is our other home "where the deer our mommy!" Can't wait to come back and enjoy simplicity again.

Cozy and peaceful!

My husband and I planned this weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful time and just loved the cottage and all it's surroundings. The hill country and Lake Travis are so beautiful. We found the cottage to have just about everything we could need for a simple and relaxing getaway. If you want to use the washer and dryer, make sure to bring your own detergent.
p.s. The owners are very friendly! =)

The cabin was extremely clean and well maintained. It was very quiet and peaceful.

It is really nice for 2 people; however, the bathroom is extremely small.

My fiancee and I had a wonderful time this past weekend! It is in a great location for site-seeing and for travelling around the wonderful hill country. The amenities were wonderful and very relaxing. There was nothing to worrry about when it came to having a very peaceful place to rest and relax. Thank you for a wonderful piece of Heaven in the woods on the lake and in the Hill Country. We will return!!!
