This home is a charming cape in the Bonnet Shores section of Narragansett (94 Treasure Road). The Bonnet Shores area is a family neighborhood with two scenic beaches. This beach home is up one road from the road that runs along the waterfront of Bonnet Shores. The home is within walking distance of both the main beach (Kelly Beach) and the little beach that offers views of the Jamestown Bridge. The last few years( on the weekends), the Bonnet Shores Fire District has provided a school bus that travels the neighborhood between 12 pm- 5 pm picking up beach goers and dropping them off at the beach (perfect for the family that is carrying beach chairs and a cooler filled with snacks). This bus route includes a stop in front of our home on Treasure Road. This 3 bedroom cape with one bathroom offers one queen size bed, two full size beds and one twin bed. The washer/ dryer is in the basement area. There is a new large wrap-around deck off the kitchen in the front/ side of the house.

The large wrap around deck has a barbecue grill and gets plenty of sun.

Kelly Beach is available to our summer tenants and does not require a beach pass to walk on to this pristine beach.

Bonnet Shores: swimming, biking, children activities, boating, fishing. The area is near the town beach in Narragansett (4 miles) and other state beaches in Narragansett, area restaurants, Jamestown and Newport (within 20 minutes), Block Island Ferry about 10 miles.

Perfect Beach House

We have rented the Treasure Road house twice and are planning on doing so again in August 2012. Our favorite aspect of the house is the wrap around deck on the front. With good weather, its a great place to hang out and eat dinner and chat with friends and family at night. The inside is comfortable with enough space for everyone. Also nice private back yard. The owner is very friendly and available if you need anything.

Beach House

We rented this home for a week in July. It is the perfect beach house, comfortable, clean, and a short walk to the beach. It was so enjoyable to sit out on the large deck have breakfast in the morning or at night sit around with friends and talk. You have the option to cook on the grill, use the full kitchen, or travel a short distance to the many restaurants in the area. If by chance it rains (we had beautiful weather) there is room to play games, read, watch cable television or play a DVD. We would walk down to the beach stay for a few hours, leave our chairs and towels, return to the house for lunch and then back to the beach. It was a great week! I would recommend this property to friends and family.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

My stay at Treasure Road

My family stayed at Treasure Road during the 2nd week in July. The property was clean and was well-maintained. There were even fresh cut flowers there when we arrived!! The walk to Kelly beach is a little bit of hike but we were happy for the exercise and on the weekends there was a bus to shuttle us back and forth. We also loved that Newport was such a short distance away.
We would highly recommend this property to others. Can't wait to return next year!!!

I lived here during the school year and it was wonderful. Not only was I able to have my own room and privacy it was such a close drive to the URI campus. The house is great in the fall and spring when the weather is still warm and you can walk to the beach! I would definitely recommend this home to any URI students. The owners help you whenever there is a problem! Great home, wish I was still a student because I would live there again!

Wonderful!

I rented this home for a week last summer and have already booked my week for this summer! The home is a wonderful beach house and has a great deck. Most of my family members are in Northern RI and we enjoy having BBQs at least once while we are there. The deck makes this possible since we have a very large family! The home was kept very clean and the owners were wonderful with meeting us at the property to show us around. They left great ideas of what restaurants to eat at and we tried everyone of those restaurants! I would definitely recommend this home to another family looking for a wonderful vacation in a great neighborhood!!
