Our vacation home is located in the heart of Oak Bluffs, this new Victorian-style home has 5 plus bedrooms and 5 full baths. The first floor has a covered porch, an open kitchen/ living area, one bedroom and a full bath. The second floor features a master bedroom with a balcony & private bath, and a two bedroom suite with its own bath. On the third floor you'll find a spacious second master bedroom with a full bath, 2-person whirlpool, and waterview balcony. The lower level is a finished recreation/ bunk room with full bath and laundry.

A one minute walk to Circuit Ave - for Oak Bluffs best shopping, movies, family fun, night life, and restaurants.

The home overlooks Hartford Park, a quiet residential park in the heart of the historic Copeland District. Within walking distance are public tennis courts, children's playgrounds, basketball court, and a practice golf area. Public transportation is nearby, as well as ferries to Woods Hole, Falmouth, Hyannis, New Bedford and Nantucket. Car, jeep, motorcycle, bike, boat and jet ski rentals are also nearby. The sandy Town Beach and Circuit Ave are a short stroll away. On Circuit Ave you'll find movie theaters, game room, clubs and pubs, shopping, ice cream and coffee shops, as well as a food market and post office. Restaurants nearby will satisfy everyone's tastes.

This is a follow-up to my previous review.

After reading the above reveiw regarding our deposit, the owner contacted us and apologized profusely. He stated that he had relied on someone else to handle the responsibility of returning the deposit and did not know they had not done so. He returned the deposit to us that week. As a result, we will likely be renting from him again next summer.

Well maintained, but beware

We stayed here in 2010 (Calendar won't allow the date). The house was very well maintained, and the owner pleasant. However, he never returned our deposit or our phone calls or emails regarding said deposit.
