Nice place to get away from the crowds, close to the beach, nice pond behind the house, We started crab fishing in the pond catching nice blue crabs here and there until we saw some people using crab baskets out in the ocean with weights and plastic bottles for floats ( I recommend this) also when fishing on the beach make sure you use large bait otherwise you will only catch small fish. Hot tub was nice on deck, breeze was constant we had a total of 14 people that stayed in the house with beds for all, our kids enjoyed the games the owners had left. New flat screen tv with directv on it in the living room. The beach had the seaweed on it for about 10 foot then it was pretty clean sand after that. The house is located close to museums in Jackson that are Free. I reccommend the redfish hatchery. The house is close to a Jetty there in Quintana and another close in Surfside, I reccomend the Buckees store on the way to surfside for equipment. However there is a baitshop 2 blocks from the house. We had a great time here the only bad thing I could talk about was the mosquitos they thick here so be prepared with Off, Deet and whatever you can get to keep them away evening was the main time they were bad and in the grass. Owner was great answered all our questions. For a nice peaceful stay right on the Gulf give it a try!
