FIRST FLOOR DESCRIPTION:
THE FIRST FLOOR: The granite kitchen is the heart of the open plan first floor which includes living and dining areas. There are wood floors with oriental rugs throughout. There is a lovely, large gas fireplace and an atrium with a 20' ceiling. The many windows and the skylight flood the house with light. The bathroom features a tempered glass circular shower and polished Mexican Saltillo tile floor. There is a Maytag Neptune laundry, Bosch range, and central air-conditioning. There are several decks including a circular, cedar private outdoor shower with warm water, a foot shower, and an outdoor gas fireplace for chilly evenings. The kitchen features a superb array of cookware, dishwasher, disposal, Bosch range, sit-up/work-on round peninsula, overhead pot-rack, and all the utensils you need.
SECOND FLOOR DESCRIPTION:
THE SECOND FLOOR has a gorgeous, private master suite. In the bathroom are black marble counter tiles, with river rock and polished Mexican Saltillo tile floors. There is a large family/sitting area with television, DVD and wireless internet access. Finally, there is an enormous furnished deck with 270 degree views. This is the place to end your day (if you have not taken a cocktail over to the beach) - this upper deck is softly lit, fully furnished, with a commanding view of the water and the town. The breeze is warm, the view spectacular both east and west. After dinner, this is the place to return to watch the sky during the dark, starry nites.
AMENITIES:
GENERAL AMENITIES: unlimited US long distance telephone, wireless internet service, cable TV, DVD, CD player, a fleet of bicycles, and a gas fireplace on the northeast deck for any cool evenings - this area is protected from view by a translucent scrim which allows the breeze but provides visual privacy. All the decks are of beautiful 'no-splinter' material.
There are beach towels, as well as beach chairs, tables and umbrellas conveniently stowed for your use.
If you are looking for glitz and noise, this is not the place for you. But if you like long walks on the beach, fun in the sun and sand, walking or bicycling thru the National Park and along the Merrimac river, plus a choice of many types of restaurants, wonderful sources of foods for cooking on the grill, and watching the sun go down - this is the place for you and your family
