A totally self-contained 1 bedroom apartment, fully furnished with antiques and equipped for 2/3 people. It is at first floor level and adjacent to the owners main residence, Mas Manera. Some 3kms from the main road, up tracks and enjoys splendid views over the surrounding agricultural and forest land. 'Los Olivos' consists of Bedroom (double bed)and en-suite shower room (shower cubicle, WC, hand basin, dressing table). Lounge/Dining room with TV (astra Satellite) video, radio/CD player, fold-up bed for 3rd person, sofa, chairs etc. Open plan kitchen with full size butane gas cooker with oven, grill etc. Fridge, microwave, toaster, etc. Own patio at side of property with table/chairs and sun beds. This is an ideal place for those who enjoy the countryside and are looking for a relaxed and informal holiday. Because of the location transport is essential. The market town of Figurers, birthplace of Salvador Dali and the Dali Museum is close by. Beaches, Roses, Ampuriabrava, La Escala

'Los Olivos' is located in a tiny hamlet with other old properties scattered over the hillside. Within easy distance there are many places of interest. The airports at Girona, Perpignan and Barcelona are all within easy reach and all have regular flights with budget airlines

This rural property is located just off of the N11 highway between Girona and Figueres, Spain. An exit/entrance to the Autopista AP7 toward Barcelona and Perpignan, France is only a few minutes away. We found the property very convenient for day trips into Southern France, the Pyrenees, and the Mediterranean. The final kilometer or so into the property is on a dirt road but we did not have any problems getting into or off of the property.

The property is very well maintained and very neat and clean. The owner David lives on the property and will provide information on local restaurants and business'.

The closest village is Bascara and there is a good bakery and two good carnicerias in the village. Other goods and services can be found in Girona or Figueres.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.
