Photos and Description of the Lake Dunmore vacation cottage rental Right on the water - 3 BR, sleeps 6, 1.5 BA.

Enjoy lakeside living and spectacular sunsets from your chair on the large front porch. Deck and dock offer great views. Two bedrooms have queen beds (one bedroom has 1/2 bath). Third bedroom has 2 bunks (good for kids). Large living/dining room and separate kitchen. Enjoy the night air on cozy sleeping porch. This cottage has old lake charm but has been upgraded with a drilled well, hot water heating system, dishwasher and microwave oven. The kitchen has all needed china, silver, utensils and cookware. Pillows and blankets are provided for all bedrooms. The large screened front porch has a picnic table and porch furniture. At waters edge you'll find a 12'X16' deck with large beach umbrella and deck chairs. The waterfront offers clear water for swimming. The 4'X18' dock and mooring can accommodate your watercraft and Lake Dunmore is great for pleasure boating activities including scenic rides, fishing, water-skiing and wake-boarding. This cottage is directly on the lake.

Nearest Motorway: VT route 7 & 53 at 4 Miles
Good swimming. Excellent hiking nearby. Golf: 25 minute drive. Lake Dumore is about three miles long and has beautiful mountain views. Middlebury College with an excellent golf course and cultural activities including a art museum is 20 minutes away. Excellent restaurants have Vermont country fare and even French cuisine. The cottage is on the preferred east side of the lake which provides afternoon sun and brilliant sunsets. There are many hiking trails including one to unspoiled Silver Lake in the Green Mountain National Forest accessible right from the cottage.
