This four bedroom apartment provides spacious accommodation with a fresh, modern interior and contemporary fittings. It is located on the first floor of a period building in an exclusive area close to the Vatican and the historical centre. The high ceiling, the generous rooms and the period floor reflect the original features of the typical 800’s buildings of the area. It comprises a fitted kitchen, dining space for 8 people, one room with a sofa bed for two, three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is also a very large terrace with table and chair overlooking the backyard where you can enjoy an aperitivo after a long walk in the city. The area has excellent transport links (metro and bus stops) and the historical centre can be reached with an easy walk. This property is also well located for shops, bars and restaurants.

This property was perfect for us, the accommodation was spacious, clean and we were well looked after. Supermarket around the corner, Vatican only a few minutes walk, many delicious restaurants only a few steps away and a bus ride to other areas of Rome for only 1.50 euro. It was all very easy.
Wonderful apartment very close to the public transport and the main attractions of Rome (vatican a few meters away). We used the kitchen to cook a few meals but there are several restaurants around the corner (see tripadvisor ratings, some good rated restaurants + ice cafes are very close).
The host (Massimo) was great, explained us everything in the apartment, showed us the locations to visit and how to get there, and told us what we could find around the apartment (supermarket, bars, ..). He also arranged transfer to airport for us. Also the complete organisation (booking) was good organized by this company.
The appartment is in the first floor and is not very modern but had everThing we needed. The terrace is great but should be equipped with more deck chairs.
Summarized, a very good deal for this price.
Stayed for four days with my wife, 4 kids, and family friend. We were met shortly after we arrived by Massimo from the rental company. He walked us through the features of the apartment and answered all of our questions. VERY helpful. Even provided dining suggestions, showed us where the market was (right around the block so very convenient), etc.
The best thing about the apartment is the location. Close to everything. Metro is 5 blocks away. Taxi stand is 2 blocks. The vatican is 5 blocks. Very convenient.
The apartment is quite comfortable. The beds are nice (good linens and pillows) and each bedroom has an air conditioner. A previous review mentions the apartment is a bit worn. I agree, but it wasn't too much so. For instance, the kitchen could stand to be upgraded and better furnished (not enough glassware for an 8 person apartment, no coffee maker, no cleaning supplies for dishes) and the stove is very old. We didn't cook, however, so no trouble for us. The apartment is also missing some important amenities like a washing machine. We needed to take our wash to a nearby laundromat. That said, the description of the apartment is accurate.
Overall I would give the apartment a B grade. We have stayed in nicer apartments for rent, but have seen worse as well. For the price and location, however, i think it's a pretty good value.
Plus points: Spacious apartment, high ceilings, nice big bath in one of the bathrooms. Central, close to Vatican (5 minutes brisk walk). Big deck outside. Beds ok, but a mixed bunch. Nice cafe underneath. Minus: apartment not well maintained. Heating did not work during our 8 night stay, nothing was done. Plumbing was completely blocked in bath and kitchen, again nothing done. Beds and furniture were tatty and a complete mish mash. Beware the gas cooker, wobbly elements very dangerous. Electrical sockets were a joke, either coming off wall or directly above cooker. Fridge barely cold. Oven door held on by catch screwed into place since hinge was stuffed! Oh, and beware of using the balcony. The female concierge, below the apartment will shout at you if you make the slightest noise. My elderly parents were stunned when she started yelling at them as they ate a sandwich quietly on the balcony. They are 85 and 82 years old! Overall, for what we paid, we expected the apartment owner to actually try to fix the heating and plumbing issues for this type of money, rather than to say it was not their problem...
Loved staying in this apartment. The facilities were better than advertised. 6 people shared the apartment and were not cramped or crowded. The photos are all accurate. The metro is about a 5 minute walk from the apartment that can get you anywhere in Rome. There is a taxi stand at the Piazza two blocks down the street. St. Peter's Square is about a 5 minute walk from the apartment and there are tour buses available there. The is also a grocery store 2 blocks away. The managers were available at anytime and answered all of our questions. There are restaurants scattered throughout the neighborhood and we don't think we had a meal we didn't enjoy the entire time we were their. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in the Vatican area of Rome.
The apartment is exactly as in the pictures, maybe even better. It was clean, roomy, bright and very comfortable for our family group of 8. We especially loved the excellent location. It was more than I expected. The neighborhood is lovely, safe and busy with shops and restaurants, but also peaceful and welcoming. You can walk to just about any major site or hop on one of several public buses/trams that stop at piazza Risorgimento just a block away. The red line metro is about 3-4 blocks away.
The outdoor terrace was such a treat to have and we definitely enjoyed it in the morning and late evening. We also used the kitchen every day for breakfast. It was well-stocked with all the kitchen tools (no food) needed to make a family meal.
One thing to keep in mind if traveling in August (which is very hot and humid) is that there are air conditioning units only in the three large bedrooms. In order to cool the rest of the apartment you need to keep the bedroom doors open. In the evening, opening the windows lets the breeze in and helps cool things down. It would be great if there were one or two fans available to use in the dining room and smallest bedroom during the hottest summer days.
The Feeling Rome staff were easy to communicate with and very professional. They accommodated our early check in and requests for additional towels and toilet paper.
Thanks! We highly recommend!
The apartment is located in an exclusive and elegant area, a few minutes walk from the Vatican and the historic center. The area, with its tranquility and its strategic location, is an ideal starting point to visit Rome. Most of the sites are in fact within walking distance and the area is well connected by metro and public buses. In just a few minutes walk you can reach extraordinary places such as the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo and across the river Tiber, you can find the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Colosseum and all the main attractions of city. The Prati area is also known for the shopping and for its many traditional Roman restaurants.
