Charlestown is a beautiful seaside community that offers 7 miles of beaches. Easy access to boat ramps and dozens of nearby public beaches. Windsurfers flock here to sail on Ningret Pond . Clam or Fish to your hearts content. The fish are always biting, and the clams are just a rake away. Take a short ride to Point Judith and watch the days catch be unloaded and pick up a few lobsters for dinner. There is over 4000 acres of wildlife sanctuaries nearby, 3000 acres abut this neighborhood. Ninigret park is 1.5 miles away and offers a new playground, fishing access, nature trails, swimming lagoon, tennis courts, bike path, soccer fields, Frisbee golf and a planetarium. Restaurants and nightlife are not far off with Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casino’s 20 minutes away. Other nearby destinations include Mystic CT and Newport RI just 35 minutes away. This home is 2 miles from East Beach.

Great Place with lots of Space

Nice enough yard it was green when we were there, plenty for my dog and 2 small children. We liked the open floor plan and large back deck. Its amazing how big it was on the inside. The master bedroom had a large sitting area we used for a pack and play crib. My dog wandered all through the neighbors at dinner time one night and so i had a chance to meet the renters in the homes near the one we rented. They all seemed to be happy as clams and were all repeat renters. Plenty of linen was supplied. I will rent again as the place was clean, inexpensive, and close to the beaches. Wish we would have found the place sooner.
Owner's Response: We rent several homes that we own in the neighborhood, and manage them ourselves. The benefit to you is that we are available to make sure everything is perfect, if something needs our attention we can get to it right away. The homes are clean, spacious and affordable. We keep the price down by keeping guest in them, happy guest return. Just like the reviewer said they will rent from us again. Hope to hear from you soon

Wonderful time had by all! The house had more than enough space for us. It was just a few minutes drive to our favorite beach. No complaints, except we hated to leave our little vacation retreat! I would definitely recommend renting this home! Thanks, Charlie! :)

Has everything you need for a great stay

What you see in the pictures are what you get! We found this place at the last minute and received very friendly service from the owner who even recommended a great fishing trip! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed from pots and pans to clean linens as well as all of the cleaning supplies so we could maintain the home during our stay without having to spend tons of money on our own cleaning supplies for the week. The bathrooms looked as though they were recently redone (new soaking tub, showers appeared new or very well maintained) and a clean bathroom is very important to me. There was room for our active lab to run around and play. The washer/dryer, AC, and Wireless Internet were a huge bonus. All in all the place was clean, there was a small problem with ants in the kitchen and the carpet was a bit old and stained but these are minor issues that would not deter me from staying there again. I would definitely recommend this to others and would certainly stay again.

Cheap and reasonable

This is just a double wide trailer- plain and simple. No lawn, close to other trailers. But it was clean and nice on the inside, and in a great location. Quiet at night.
