Britbank occupies an enviable location right on the banks of the River Brit and has wonderful views across the river, harbour and meadows behind. The property was built around 1900 and still retains many original features. The current owner has carefully renovated and improved the property to provide a sitting and dining room, well fitted kitchen, utility room, two bedrooms and a bathroom as well as a storage area for kayaks etc. Britbank enjoys a peaceful location which can only be accessed on foot, West bay offers a variety of shops, cafes and pubs and has a lovely sandy beach. The River Brit is a haven for wildlife and it is common to see kingfishers, herons, waders and gulls from the property and garden. It is possible to row about two miles up the river to Palmers Brewery on the outskirts of Bridport. The property is well equipped for your perfect Dorset holidays. You will find the following facilities at the property:

Sitting Room :

Digital television with free view, stereo radio / cd player, DVD player& Wi Fi.

Kitchen :

Electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, breakfast bar.

Utility Room :

Washing machine, space to dry clothes.

Linen is provided and all the beds will be made up for your arrival. There is also gas central heating at the property.
