Cape-style log cabin on shore of Streeter Pond, an 80-acre lake on the outskirts of Franconia. Scenic location on cul-de-sac; great for families, a quiet get-away, or a base for White Mountains hiking & tourist attractions. Fishing and boating dock at front door. Known as 'the quiet side of the White Mountains'; no traffic jams. Several restaurants, four public golf courses and two bike paths nearby. 15 minutes to Franconia Notch State Park or Littleton.

A great quiet getaway!

We stayed there at the end of August and had a wonderful time! It met the needs of the whole family. My boys enjoyed fishing, catching turtles and frogs and seeing the otters! We adults were able to hang back, listen to the ball game on the radio and just relax. This was just what we needed. It was so secluded and so quiet, we felt like the only ones around. We didn't swim in the pond as that end was filled with lily pads and weeds but no one seemed to mind. It was probably our best family vacation so far!
