Further details for this vacation cottage rental in Great Moose Lake, Maine
Fishing: Great Moose Lake has excellent fishing for small mouth bass also some large mouth bass have been caught. There are also numerous pan fish including white perch, pickerel, yellow perch, sunfish, and blue gills. These can be caught off the shore or out in a boat. We also have boats, motors, canoes, and kayaks available for rent on premises. It is a quiet lake during the week with some pick-up in traffic on the week-ends but is never crowded like some other lakes.
Cottage: The cottage is located on the southeast end off the lake this allows for sunsets across the lake, also afternoon sun on the beach. There is a large lawn going down to the waters edge allowing great opportunities to watch your kids from the screened porch. Two bedrooms up and one down with a fireplace and wood supplied in the living/ dining room. Full bathroom and well supplied kitchen with the basics for those who want to cook in.
Swimming: The water is clean and clear with a gradual drop off great for young children. There is a private sandy beach in front of the cottages.
Golf: There are three public golf courses with a 30 minute drive of the cottages.
