We packed the cottage with four adults, four children, and four dogs! It was a beautiful weekend and the kids had so much fun. Everyone caught at least one fish, mostly perch. Though I found the water a bit chilly the kids spent most of the weekend swimming in it. The huge fire pit was great for roasting marshmellows and making smores. The huge front yard was especially loved by our big dog Sully who also enjoyed a romp with the Fisher's Golden Retrievers. It was great to be able to share a place my sisters and I had spent every summer in when our grandfather had owned property there with our children. We were fortunate the the weather didn't overly windy until the morning we were leaving. On our arrival we found a baby bird in the yard who's mother whisked away, a toad anda frog. Our kids loved seeing all the creatures! And it was great to be able to skip some stones, though I found I am rustier than I thought. You couldn't ask for nicer people to rent from!

Thank you very much for a beautiful week at the lake. It was nice to find a place where our whole family, including our 3 dogs could all get together! We loved kayaking and swimming in the lake, and it was nice to have several great parks within biking distance. We also had fun venturing a bit further away for a tour and taste of ice cream at Ben + Jerry's factory-Yum Thanks Again Bob

Such a wonderfully peaceful setting. The lake is right outside the front door. You can sit in the Ardirondack chairs or the swing and just enjoy the lovely view, or sit on the dock and dangle your feet in the pristine water. Dave and Sue have fully equipped the cottage with everything you need to feel right at home. They are exceptionally delightful people and will try to accommodate any unforeseen needs (though we were not at a loss for anything). They even welcomed our dog, Cecil, who enjoyed the companionship of their golden retriever, George. I highly recommend a stay at the Fisher's cottage if you want to kick back and enjoy one of the most splendid vacations of your life.

Wonderful peaceful setting. Large yard for lots of outdoor activity. I really loved the idea of the guests puttering in the house gardens. I even put in a shasta daisy cannot wait to return next year to see if I picked a good spot for it!!!!I felt relaxed the minute I arrived.
