This large, comfortable Cape is located on one acre on a quiet lane off scenic Route 6A, The Kings Highway. Quaint Barnstable village and the harbor are within walking distance. Our home is just a ten-minute drive from both the mid-Cape bike trail and from bustling Hyannis. Tennis, golf, whale-watching, antiquing, art galleries and craft shops are all nearby. Enjoy swimming & sunning at beautiful Sandy Neck or Craigville Beach. Enjoy doing nothing but breathing deeply and relaxing. There is great star-gazing and bird-watching. This is a family friendly area. Barnstable beach pass included, valid at all (16) resident only and public Barnstable county beaches, ponds and landings.

Sandy Neck Beach is popular with its 6-miles of silky soft sand, and for the endangered piping plovers (birds) that come to nest there. The beach offers a 360-degree view of the ocean; hiking trails wind their way through the dunes. If your idea of a vacation on Cape Cod involves plopping down a towel and pulling out a novel, then you won't be disappointed as there are over 100 beaches. If you want a more active vacation, a day's itinerary can include fishing, sailing, golf, parasailing, bicycling, hiking, shopping, sight-seeing, and any number of outdoor pursuits.

Summer in Cape Cod

My family and I stayed at this wonderful house together with some friends this summer. We were two families with four kids together and we had a lot of space for all of us. The house is perfectly located in terms of restaurants, shopping and beaches and completely quiet in the middle of nature. We could even see two deers at the garden!
The house was very stylish decorated with a huge living room and a great eating room with nice views to the garden. Everything was very clean and nothing was missing. The children were playing at the big garden, built a tree house and we all enjoyed having BBQ in the evening in a complete quiet atmosphere.
The owner provided an excellent service and it was very agreeable to deal with him.
I would very much recommend this house to everyone who wants to have a quiet holiday surrounded by spectacular nature in such a beautiful area like Cape Cod.

We stayed at this home with one other family. Each of us families having two children. It was a great set-up for us, with plenty of room. We really enjoyed the home, and the privacy and seclusion was a surprising treat. However, we were still very close-by to everything and great beaches. (having the beach pass was such a plus!) The owner was very accommodating and wiling to meet our needs, and very professional to work with. I would certainly recommend this house to anyone considering it. We had a fabulous stay here.

An Ideal Cape Cod Getaway

My family and I stayed at the Barnstable vacation house for two weeks last summer, and it was an amazing experience we will not soon forget. There were eight of us total – three couples and two kids – and we had more than enough room to each have space to enjoy ourselves, have fun, and relax in the peace and quiet.

The house is smack dab in the middle of everything you’d want, though it feels serene and private the minute you drive up. The property is surrounded by trees, which give the whole place a very secluded, peaceful feeling. The large house has a generous yard filled with beautiful trees and greenery, and the numerous windows allow lovely views and let in loads on sunlight. We particularly enjoyed our family meals together in the dining room with its view of the yard. The house is very well maintained and completely matched our ideas of what a “house on the Cape” would be like.

Hyannis is only about ten minutes away, which was perfect for getting the kids out of the house, doing some shopping, and seeing the local sites. And we of course made full use of our close proximity to several beaches.

Also, the owners are a pleasure to deal with and have great customer service skills. The entire experience was positive and smooth. We have since recommended this property to several friends and would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking the ideal Cape Cod getaway.
