The mountains are beautiful in the spring as nature comes alive. The weather is usually warm enough for hiking and mountain biking. Birdwatching is also a favorite pastime. Keep an eye open for the eagles that often soar above the river and surrounding forest.
Summer is a wonderful time to explore our river valley and mountains. Take your kayaks, rafts, or tubes up the river and then enjoy the scenery and serenity of the mountains as you float back down to the cabin. Stevens Pass Bike Park opens three chairlifts to bikers and senic riders. Numerous mountain trails offer a variety of hikes through the forest to alpine lakes, waterfalls, and picturesque vistas. For our guests who just want to relax, you can catch a few rays on the sandy beach or swim in the river.
In the fall brilliant red, orange, and yellow leaves contrast with the evergreen trees, and paint the mountainsides with color. This is a great time to hike or bike the mountain trails and roads.
