Location: Sebago Lake < Western Maine < Maine < USA

Nearest Airport: Portland International at 25 Miles
Crescent Lake is situated in the beautiful Sebago Lakes Region and the lodge is located on the more desirable east shore of the lake. This smaller, quieter lake is suitable for children of all ages. Enjoy all of your favorite freshwater activities, fishing, boating, water skiing, tubing, kayaking, etc. For the nature enthusiasts you may paddle or motor your way up the Tenney River where wildlife abounds. This river connects Crescent Lake to the larger Panther Pond. Also, our 25 mile proximity to Freeport and Portland offers a multitude of shopping and dining experiences. The fall is our favorite time of the year on the lake; apple picking, hayrides, and nature walks. Located just a few miles away is Rattlesnake Mountain which offers great family hiking activities. In the winter months we are within easy driving distance to some great skiing including Shawnee Peak & Sunday River. Snowmobiling, ice fishing, skating, and snowshoeing are all available at your front door

Motor boats are available for rent nearby. The interior of the lodge has a kitchen with just about everything a gourmet cook could want including a Viking stove with griddle. Just off the kitchen is a wet bar/pantry with wine cooler. There is a large fieldstone chimney with fireplace in living room and dining room. In addition to all of this is what many consider the best part of the lodge; a 60' long porch with wicker dining table overlooking the lake!

Crescent Lake Lodge

T.A.G. Connecticut
Review Submitted: February 1, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2008
We’ve just reserved our 3rd annual week at the lodge. This is a great place to vacation and we just love it. We come back year after year with a full compliment of kids, cousins, parents and friends. The place is grand, well decorated and a terrific getaway. We come each year with the intention of visiting all of the local sites, but usually just stay in and enjoy the peace and quite of this home and the beautiful lake setting. The porch and hammocks are great for reading and the house is large enough for everyone to find a favorite place to relax. The kitchen is large, well laid out, and fully equipped. The rooms are nicely decorated and very high end. The only drawback is that our time flies by and we leave wishing that our week was just starting.

Couldn't be better

A week is barely enough! The lodge is beautiful, functional (huge working kitchen and pantry) and right on Crescent Lake. The water is perfect for boating and swimming (I just don't do any fishing). The location is nearly pristine, quiet, yet only 15 minutes from anything you would need. Bring bikes. This area of Maine is perfect for it if you are up in the summer.

Super house, views and lake. Awesome fireplace in a spacious great room with many different sitting areas. This owners did a great job rebuilding this lodge. The decorating and furniture
is high end rustic look.
The house has all amenities required for a great vacation.
The lake is excellent for kayaking and and canoeing and was a great way to see the lakes.
Would love to return for vacation.

Three generations of my family also stayed at this beautiful house including 6 children. Everyone had an absolutely wonderful time! The house is beautifully decorated and has lots of room for everyone. The lake is wonderful - we especially loved to listen to the loons singing their songs. It was great to take the canoes and kayaks up the river to enjoy the wonderful views. The kids loved using the "Bongo" to play on. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who was looking for a very special vacation.

Review Submitted: August 10, 2005 Date of Stay: August 2005
Three generations of my family (ten of us in total, including four children) spent a fantastic week here in August 2004. We're about to head back for a week in August 2005, which probably says it all. This is a truly amazing place for a vacation. It is everything the description says and more--it doesn't disappoint in any way. The house is a large and beautiful Adirondack-style lodge, with large beams and many beautiful and thoughtful touches throughout. The granite kitchen is outfitted for a gourmet chef and the massive stone fireplace is beautiful. The screened-in porch overlooking the lake is enormous, with lots of sitting areas, and is an ideal place to spend hours reading or working on a puzzle. The lake is beautiful and clean; the swimming and boating are fantastic. The owners of the house are terrific, too, and a pleasure to deal with. They have obviously put a great deal of care and effort into building and furnishing this house and it shows in every way. We had a wonderful experience and can't wait to return. This is an ideal spot to spend precious vacation time with friends or family.
