Our holiday home is located in Julianadorp the sea. It is just 500 meters from the beach. Here you can take long beach walks towards Callantsoog or Den Helder and while you rest in one of the nice beach bars with a cup of coffee or a delicious lunch.
In the vicinity there are 2 shopping centers including supermarkets, a chemist, butcher and a baker. Do you drive a bit further than Callantsoog find there a large supermarket which is open year round to sorting 22. 00uur, including Sundays and in the postseason.
For fine dining, you can contact several cabanas as "savage" in Callantsoog but would you prefer fine dining then the Bokkesprong in greeting highly recommended. For just a delicious snack you can visit Callantsoog at Wip-in where they sell fresh cut fries. Do you truly delicious fresh fish then you should definitely look into the bright-visit the fish market, here you can buy fresh fish Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
In the surroundings you can include hiking and cycling through the dunes or along the beautiful bulb fields, or what you think of from Den-Helder by boat (Teso) to Texel to sail to visit the shelter Ecomare seal or the Texel brewery where you can get a tour and the special beer tasting. What nearer home you find Fort Kijkduin and the Marine Museum in Den Helder, this may also not be missed. In Den-Helder every year around the summer the Navy Navy Days, a very impressive event.
From Julianadorp by car you can easily visit cities like Alkmaar cheese market with their famous and nice shopping streets, Horn and Schagen. In Enkhuizen can enjoy themselves in the Zuiderzee for both young and old.
