The Carriage House is a funky two-bedroom cottage sheltered in a wooded area by a beautiful ocean-water bay, close to the lovely university town of Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Quiet and privacy are guaranteed. Perfect for honeymooners and small families, the sun-flooded space sleeps four. Architecturally designed, the cottage features wide plank floors, dramatically angled pine ceilings and 5 skylights. A spacious deck wraps around the back and side. The master bedroom has a padded queen-sized bed and a window nook that overlooks an ash grove. The upstairs cupola sleeps two singles. Its wrap-around windows overlook lovely fields and forest. The living room has a sofa bed and entertainment goodies. Kitchen and laundry equipment are provided too. The French Provincial-style bathroom has a whirlpool tub to pulse away the day's delightful exertions. Sailing, kayaking and canoing on-site. It doesn't get much better.

Notes: Pets: Most pets are welcome as part of the family. They (especially dogs) will love the 10 acres of land on which they can roam along with the miles of coastline and beach. Pets are allowed in all inside areas of the property but not on any of the furniture. Pet owners are also asked to pick up after their pets at all times Pets need to be house trained, not pose a danger to humans, in good general health and inoculated for applicable issues (such as fleas in dogs.) Smoking allowed only outside.

Day trips take you to watch whales, tour a vineyard and drive the spectacular Cape Breton Cabot Trail. Vacation perfection!
