Townhome, 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Beautiful three bedroom, two and one-half bath townhouse in Sunset Hammocks. Sunset Hammocks is a secure, gated bayside community of 40 private townhouses. With a partial balcony bay view, and amazing views also of the tropical lagoon and natural hardwood hammock. Come to enjoy the peaceful Florida Keys sunsets that will take your breath away.

There is ground level covered parking and storage for two cars, and three levels of living area. The large living room, dining room, kitchen and one-half bath are on the first floor with two screened patios to enjoy. The unit has a large projection TV and full entertainment system. It is tastefully decorated in a bright island décor.

The second floor is bi-level with the master bedroom/sitting area and with a queen bed and flat screen TV. Step down into the master bath area with dual sinks or out onto the private master deck. The second bedroom holds a queen bed and a set of bunk beds, along with its full private bath and outside deck area. There is a full size washer and dryer on this level. The third bedroom is perfect for kids, with a small spiral stairway that goes up to a private bedroom with a queen size futon bed, along with a closet and television.

Only an hour from Miami and less than two hours from Key West! 20 minutes to Holiday Isle!

Fish (and release) from the dock, enjoy a barbecue or glass of wine in the cushioned lounge chairs while watching the sunset. Full fish cleaning table. If you are lucky, you can see manatees occasionally swimming in the dock area! Use of our boat slip is included with this rental.

All walking areas are nicely illuminated for evening enjoyment. Local charter fishing also available close in the area.

Enjoy the heated pool/Jacuzzi and take advantage of the clubhouse. Onsite tennis courts with lights and a basketball hoop are also awaiting you.

You can boat a short distance to many restaurants, bars, and stores -- just dock and enjoy!

Why The Owner chose Islamorada

We purchased in the beautiful Florida Keys because it is so close but so far from Miami. It is only a 45 minute drive from our home in Miami, but is a completely different mentality! It has been a perfect place to get away and enjoy with family and friends, and we are happy to share our home as a rental for others to enjoy also.

What makes this townhome unique

We enjoy the opportunity to enjoy the privacy, peace and quiet that Sunset Hammocks offers. Also, to take our boat out for fishing or playing on a sandbar. We enjoy taking our boat to dock and eat at the many restaurants on the water. There are so many wonderful restaurants to try along with all the 'docks on the bay' for a sunset cocktail! We love that the Keys can be as exciting or as relaxing as we are in the mood!
