Semi-duplex apartment not refurbished but very welcoming. Ideal for 8 people, 11 if using the 3 existing futons.

The house is on one side of the village, so that a facade is integrated in it and the other overlooks the mountains and a little stream.

It has hot water and individual heating with modern radiators with propane boiler (piped), washing machine, induction cooker, electric oven, etc..

It has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and two lounges with fireplaces and two terraces, one of them quite big and facing south.

The kitchen is very spacious, it has a new induction hob and electric oven, a microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher and also has a fixed table with a bench, also has a balcony overlooking the garden.

A smaller bedroom with double bed and built-in wardrobe and a window also overlooking the garden.

Yet another large bedroom with twin beds and built-in wardrobes and a small balcony which is located a clothes dryer.

Large bathroom with tub.

Dining room with a large wooden table and next to the living room with fireplace, another smaller table, a large window and a balcony.

From the dining room starts a staircase that climbs upstairs, where a more private area is with its own living room with fireplace, sofas and futons, bedroom with double bed and built-in wardrobe and a window overlooking the mountain and has its own in-bathroom, and a large terrace facing south with beautiful views of the mountains and the sound of a small stream.

Overall it is a very bright and welcoming home.

Hemos pasado unos días estupendos en la casa, es muy amplia tal como viene en las fotos y muy acogedora, repetiremos seguro porque han sido unos auténticos días de relax en la naturaleza. Todo perfecto,no es una casa moderna del todo,pero cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar una agradable estancia. La atencion del dueño y de la persona encargada de entregarnos las llaves y atender a todo lo que nos hiciera falta fue excelente, en nada que podamos volver contare con repetir la experiencia por lo bien que nos ha ido.

Arriving from Barbastro-Graus, Castejon de Sos is located just off the impressive gorge of Congosto de Ventamillo, located in a very open area at the foot of mountains higher than 2,500 m, making it the ideal place to practice paragliding and other flying sports.

It can also be accessed from the road that connects France and the Aran Valley, (the Val d'Aran), Lérida (Lleida).

Its location is also perfect for the practice of mountain biking, hiking, climbing, via ferratas, canyoning and any other mountain sports, with valleys and marvelous small ibons (mountain lakes) to discover and the highest peaks of the Pyrenees ( Aneto, Posets, Maladeta, etc.) located in the Natural Park of Posets-Maladeta.

The ski resort of Cerler is only 20 km away, and also the resort of Baqueira ,in the Aran Valley, is 67 km away.

In Castejón there are flying clubs, flight center and paragliding schools, multisport and horse riding. There are also mountain equipment shops and paragliding ('Deportes Flap') very close to the house.

Castejón is a village much smaller and quieter than Benasque, with the added advantage that its climate is generally much more sunnier than at Benasque or Cerler, with more sun hours as it is located in a more open space.

There are bakers, supermarkets and an excellent butcher ('Las Tucas') in the village and if you need a larger trade area, Benasque is just 14 km.
