If you are seeking the perfect old town location as a base for exploring the magnificent city of Istanbul, it would be difficult to find a better location. It is located just off the top of Küçük Ayasofya, with a tram station in Cemberlitas just a 5 minute-walk away. All the great attractions including Sultanahmet- the Old City, the Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia are within a 10-minute walking distance. The Graand Bazaar is only 5 minutes away on foot while the Spice Market is two tram stops away from the nearest tram station.

The location of the property is great for those who want to stay in the Old Town and be close to all the major sightseeing spots such as the blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar and the Yerebatan Cistern. The street the house is on is in a safe and quiet neighbourhood away form nightclubs and bars. There are several small hotels on the same street. Within a five-minute walk, you get to the Sultanahmet square and the tram stop. Also, the property is really close to the sea for those who like going jogging or just walking by the sea. Eminönü is only 3 stops away and that's where you take the boat to take a Bosphorus tour.

Perfect--location, style, and comfort

This is the third apartment I have stayed in while in Istanbul and it is far and away the best. The building itself is in an ideal location--close to the sights of the Old Town, yet with a neighborhood feel. The apartment seems to have been expertly designed, with high attention to detail. I never felt wanting for anything, from dishware to ceiling fans. The owner has left very thorough information about the apartment and Istanbul, too, making the stay easier and worry-free. I highly recommend "The Turquoise."

A beautiful apartment in a perfect location 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque. Spotlessly clean and very tastefully furnished this apartment is highly recommended. We were a party of two couples so the two ensuite bathrooms gave us great comfort and privacy. The apartment is stocked with everything imaginable, lots of guide books and information - even band aids! We really appreciated the welcome from our charming hostess - who had a lovely bottle of wine for us to celebrate our first night in Istanbul. Look forward to returning to this fabulous city and will definitely stay in this lovely apartment again.

Comfortable apartment in good location

This modern and spacious apartment is in a very nice neighbourhood and close to many tourist attractions, shops and restaurants. It was maintained to a very high standard, comfortable and very clean. Everything has been thought of - and here is a folder with up to date local information, and books and maps. We really enjoyed the fact that it is located in an old quarter of the town which gives you access to a really authentic way of life around you, and at the same time has all the modern comfort you won't like to miss. When we return to Istanbul, we'll surely like to stay there again.

beautiful apartment in a historical district

We stayed 4 people and had a fantastic time. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures. It is new, clean, and well taken care of. The welcome pack was very helpful with great tips.
With hamams, restaurants and the sea within walking distance, along with the tram to take you further being just at the top of the road, location is perfect to visit Istanbul! This is also an area which feels pretty safe - there are many other small hotels neaby - although Istanbul does seem a friendly city.
I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone.

Great value for very good price

When we arrive at flat, we were very pleased. Clean and spacious. Nicely decorated and functional. Your flat allowed us the opportunity to explore everything we would want to see as tourists in the old town of Istanbul on foot. Great value for very good price. Thanks again for it all.
