Ours is a typically French character property buried deep in the Dordogne countryside. It is a large property with very extensive gardens; as soon as we saw the property we fell in love with it!
The main living room has a large vaulted area that keeps surprisingly cool in the summer months, with French doors that open out onto the front of the property. The ensuite bedrooms are situated in a galleried position, overlooking the lounge. There is a guest staircase leading to a decked area, where guests can have their meals if they wish. This sundeck overlooks our large garden, with views of the forest. Our quiet hamlet offers a peaceful and tranquil escape from the mad rush of modern life.
Les Ages is situated in a small rural hamlet in the heart of France, yet only 6 miles from Brantome, the 'Venice' of France. Brantome has a vibrant Friday market throughout the year. Within our catchment area we have Cognac, Bordeaux, St Peirre-de-Cole.
