Hello, Welcome to the OOB Cozy Cottage, your pet friendly home away from home. We LOVE dogs NO size limit. Enjoy a fun week. The Cottage is a one bedroom with a Queen size bed and a Futon (sleeps 4). Cottage includes everything you'll need for a fun week of sun and fun. The cottage has a private fenced-in yard for your pooch, small gas BBQ, outside table and chairs. Interior includes linens, cable TV, DVD, WiFi, stereo and CD player, refrigerator, microwave, oven/stove, pots and pans and A/C. Just bring your own towels and beach chairs and enjoy a fabulous time in this great town. As always, Dogs always welcome. We are 25 minutes south of beautiful Portland, Maine and 20 minutes north of quaint Kennebunkport, Maine. Within 10 minutes you will find FunTown USA, a large amusement park and Aquaboggin, a giant waterpark. Enjoy antiquing, flea markets, beach, etc -So much to see and do during your vacation.     We have 2 cottages available. Perfect for the Entire Family or just a Cozy getaway for two. Both are pet friendly and next to each other. We rent from Sunday - Sunday - Check in time after 3pm - Check out by 10am.

We are walking distance to the beach, dog park, restaurants, Amtrak, grocery, busline and all amenities. NEW INFO: Due to insurance regulations September, 2007, we can no longer accept the following types of dogs (sigggggh): Akita, Chow, American Staffordshire Terrier, Presa Canario, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Wolf Hybrid or a mix of ANY of the breeds listed. Sorry. Thank you for your understanding.

OOB Cozy Cottages Is A Jewel!

We stayed at this cottage for a week in July '09, along with our 6 year old son and 2 large dogs. We could not be more pleased with our experience there. Tina and Ric are very friendly hosts, ready to help with anything if needed. The cottage was on a quiet residential street, yet was still a very quick walk to the beach (even with dogs, kid, towels, etc). The neighbors were friendly, and my son was able to bike up and down the street safely. My dogs loved running on some nearby trails, and also LOVED swimming in the ocean in the mornings and evenings. This is no doubt a dog and kid friendly place! Not being a person that is content to lay on a beach all day, I was worried that we would run out of things to do. However, that was not the case. We ran out of days- there is still so much to do there! We will definitely be returning! Thanks so much Tina and Ric for your hospitality!

perfect getaway with your dogs

We love the cozy cottages at OOB.
Both Tina and Ric are wonderfully friendly people that really go out of their way to make sure your stay is a good one. The cottages truly are cozy and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Our Old English Bulldogges also love it there and the fenced in yard is a Godsend. This year was our second visit to the cottage and we will be back next year. We would highly recommend Cozy Cottages to anyone with or without dogs as a perfect getaway.

Simply Perfect - Totally Dog Friendly!!

Hi, we travelled from CA with our two large dogs for a week at the OOB Cozy Cottages for the summer, 2007. Wow! It was perfect!! Tina & Ric really DO love dogs and we felt so welcome. It was a wonderful feeling to have the dogs (our kids) with us for the entire week.

The dogs loved it and the owners told us about secret hot spots to take our dogs too including the WATERFALL in OOB!! We've already got our 2 weeks reserved for Summer, 2008 and we can't wait!!

The price is right. The dogs are welcome. Relax and enjoy your vacation at the OOB Cozy Cottages.

This comment is LONG overdue. My husband and I and all three of our boxers spent a week in the Old Orchard Beach Cozy Cottage. We had a very nice, relaxing time. Tina is one of the most genuine animal loving people we have ever met. She sure made us feel at home, all the way from FL. We couldn't have asked for a better week of weather, sun, and fun. There is lots to do, in the area; including going to the beach (don't forget your sunblock), shopping, walking, bike riding, fine dining, or just "chilling" at the cottage. You can also take a few day trips to Portland, Kennebunkport, and Wells. We spent one day on a lighthouse hunt and ended up in Portland checking out great food spots. Old Orchard Beach's Cozy Cottage has lots to offer AND the neighbors are nice.

We stayed at the OOB Cozy Cottage for a week in August and had a wonderful time. The location was so convenient to everything and it was great that we could bring our dog, Maggie Tina and Rick were excellent hosts making sure that we had everything we needed and were right there if you needed anything. We would definitely book a return in the future!
