The villa itself dates back to the 1600s and includes many fine character features as well as an onsite a chapel. Guest can enjoy the fabulous landscaped grounds which also feature mature cypress trees, rolling lawns and a shared BBQ area with stone picnic dining area. The 90mq outdoors swimming pool also provides guests with a fantastic place to relax and exercise and a shower room is situated by the poolside.

Guests can use the off-street parking area outside the villa gates and from the hillside location of Carlazzo the villa is just a 7 minute drive from the popular resort town of Porlezza.
Carlazzo:
Carlazzo is one of the bigger villages in this area and has a convenient grocery shop and a selection of restaurants. There are many natural and artistic attractions which should not be missed, especially several churches. In particular the church of St. Giacomo and St. Fedele which rises in the centre of the village, the church of St. Stefano containing the famous organ which was created by Serassi in 1858, the church of St. Nazzaro and Celso and also the church of St. Giorgio in the hamlet of Gottro which is famous for its Romanesque bell tower.
Nearby, the charming Lugano lakeside town of Porlezza offers many amenities including High street shops, Cafes, Bars, Gelaterias and Boating possibilities. Lugano city is situated just a 20 minutes drive away and Lake Como, with its beautfiul lakeside attractions and towns is located just a 15 minutes drive away also.
