Rural Farmhouse with 3 bedrooms & Mezzanine, 2 shower rooms, 2 WC’s

This pretty property is set on a hillside overlooking a lovely valley surrounded by it's own land, which is farmed. There are views across open countryside. It is about 5 kms from the small town of Bourg de Visa, with small shops and a restaurant also not far from the hilltop village of Roquecor which has a small shop, post office, a Sunday morning market and a café/ restaurant with a terrace which is wonderful for eating out in the evenings

A few miles away is the market town of Montaigu de Quercy which has a large leisure lake with sand beaches, waterslides, and paddle boats and canoes for hire. There are also tennis courts at the lake and public courts in the town. All around the area there are local markets, Fetes and music concerts.

Accommodation comprises of a large sitting , dining area and kitchen. The large attractive sejour has a well equipped modern kitchen with sink, electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher and fridge, an open fireplace, sitting area and a long dining table

. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds and a bedroom with twin beds. There is a shower room and separate WC.

The 11 x 5 metre swimming pool is new, also the pool house with a simple summer kitchen, shower and WC. Garden furniture and a barbecue.

There is a (French) television & telephone. Blankets, square pillows and pillowcases are supplied and linen can be hired.

There is a washing machine in the basement and a ping pong table and 2 bicycles are provided. Paocot is some 5 kms from Bourg de Visa (shops, restaurant).

This pretty farmhouse is set in rural , pretty rural countryside. All the around the area you can walk , cycle or fish. There are many medieval villages nearby to visit, such as Laurzerte, Penne d ‘Agenais and Tournon d’Agenais. One of the best food markets in the area is at the small historic town of Valence d’Agen on the Garonne Canal is just a 35 minutes away, whilst 30 minutes away is the town of Moissac. Moissac is a big stopping point on the pilgrims route to Santiago de Compostella in Spain. Behind the magnificent Cathedral (former Abbey) lie the Cloisters, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

For children the larger town of Agen (world famous for its prunes) has a large amusement fun park.
