The Kelley House, a centrally located 4 bedroom Victorian, has retained much of its 1860 charm while offering newly renovated bathrooms and a modern eat-in kitchen. Enjoy spacious air-conditioned rooms with hardwood flooring, vaulted ceilings in all 3 second floor bedrooms (the 1st floor bedroom is ideal for those who find stairs difficult). Five skylights throughout the second floor, and stained glass adds to the cozy atmosphere. If you are not gazing at the stars through the skylights, you may be enjoying our over sized farmhouse table in the sunny dining room or relaxing in our overstuffed couches in the gathering room enjoying the media center. You won't be crowded here with use of our large storage shed for bikes and beach gear, our outdoor living area and beautiful gardens. Two minute walk to beach, shopping and the market. There is parking for 4 cars on the crushed shell driveway next to our yard which is enclosed with a white picket fence. Pet friendly! High speed internet.

Great Cottage.

Kelley House is a great little cottage. We were a group of 8 and all loved the house. The home is within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Commercial Street and is conveniently located across from a great gourmet deli and market which was perfect for picking up snacks and drinks for hanging out on the outdoor patio area on the side of the house. The location of the home is a little noisy on the east side, (I prefer the west side and if you’re looking for more quiet times, I would head there) with the home being located on a semi-busy street, we stayed in mid June before the busy season, but I would imagine the street noise reaches its height in July and August. The home was clean when we arrived, the roof pitch is awkward on the second floor in all the rooms and I hit my head several times on the roof, this did not bother me, it just added to the charm of the home, but some may find it bothersome. I thought I would cook, but when I saw the kitchen decided against it, it's smallish and it was in the back of the house away from the main rooms. The kitchen was perfect for easy breakfast and lunch fixes, but I was not going to be making any gourmet meals. The beds were outstanding, very comfortable and the bedding was great. The house had lots of towels and even some beach towels which was a pleasant surprise! One little annoyance was the location of the rental office (where you pick up the keys) which is located all the way in the west end and the house is in the east end. They ask you to return keys to the office when you leave, so when we left we had to drag our entire luggage to the west end office before catching our ferry. It would have been nice to just lock the keys in the house when you leave. Also if you’re driving or picking up keys during heavy traffic times, I would park the car at the house then walk to the office because their is no parking at the rental agency on Commercial Street. Most homes I have rented from offer a hide a key with a code to access keys at the house. Finally the house was a great value for what it offered and the rental agency was very pleasant to deal with.

We enjoyed a great long weekend at the Kelley House! The home was comfortable and perfectly located -- close enough to the town center to be an easy walk and far enough away to be peaceful. We would definitely check into the availability of the Kelly House for our next trip to Provincetown.
