Enjoy our life-style. We have selected properties in some of the great areas of the world: the French Riviera, British Columbia, Palm Springs and the San Francisco Bay Area. Leave winter behind. Pack your clubs, tennis racket and bathing suit.
This apartment provides privacy and tranquility in a beautifully landscaped community with six pools and spas, tennis courts, and surrounded by golf courses. Pools are heated in the community during winter. Beautiful western views of the mountains! Drive to the mountains and take the tram for spectacular views of the desert. Palm Springs is a vibrant city with a village feel and all the amenities you need. Los Angeles is about 2 hours west, and in between are ski areas. You are within walking distance to an art film theatre (venue for PS International Film Festival) as well as full service grocery stores, library, shops and restaurants.
The condo features a large master bedroom with skylighted ensuite bath and ample second bedroom and bath. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. Cook in, grill out or go out to eat at an unlimited choice of restaurants. Watch the sunset from your private balcony. You are steps from your own tennis courts and one of six lovely pools. Public golf courses abound. Pride of ownership is evident in La Palme.
THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES ONE MONTH MINIMUM RENTAL. If you are seeking a smaller unit, I may be able to refer you to another owner in La Palme. AND any bookings for my Palm Springs property will also be eligible for discounts in the Cannes property on the French Riviera. See VRBO # 30599. Bonne chance.

After 40+ years in the corporate world, I retired in 2001. Since then my life has been absolutely wonderful. John and I own properties in France, Canada, Palm Springs and the San Francisco area. Rather than retire in a large house and drive expensive cars, we chose to live simply but live all over the world.
After owning a seasonal beach property on the east coast for many years, I discovered the desert in my own backyard. I never thought I would enjoy the area so much. I love to follow the sun but like to remain near culture and entertainment. My little resort in Palm Springs fills the bill. And it's close to home. I can drive down any day I want.
We always have fun here. Live theater. Film festivals. Name entertainment. Night clubs. Great restaurants. Sports including a great equestrian center in Indio. In 2009, I discoved the joy of being in Palm Springs in the summer! Wow. Who would have thought of it? We came down at the end of June during a short foreign film festival. Additionally there are FREE feature length foreign films at the Annenberg weekly. The street fair still goes and the museum is free on Thursday nights. Many of the restaurants are deeply discounted. Every morning we swim in the pool. With the A/C and the covered carport, the heat isn't even a problem. So we came back in July!
