West Tisbury House Rental Photos and Description
House, 4 Bedrooms + Den, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 8-10)
Our gorgeous, sun swept 3000sq ft open floor plan contemporary water view home is perched on a hill overlooking Vineyard Sound and the Elizabeth Islands. The house is filled with light in every room and ocean breezes flow through the floor to ceiling windows. It is a tasteful showcase of contemporary furnishings mixed with antiques and collectables. The deck and outdoor dining areas have water views and world class sunsets.
The house is the ultimate private get away without neighbors in site and surrounded by mature gardens and stone walls. A hammock slung between two shady trees is a great spot for your favorite summer reading.
The private beach, a 5 minute walk down the wooded paths, is open to our tenants and other residents of this exclusive association area. The waters are calm. Children can snorkle and collect drift wood. Our kayaks are there for your use. It is rare to see more than 4 or 5 people on the beach at one time! Imagine a summer without the stress of piling into the car to drive to the beach and waiting in long lines to park followed by a hike to the water! Lambert's Cove Beach, long known as the island's loveliest white sand beach, is a short bike ride or walk (just under a mile) and is open only to tenants and owners from West Tisbury. We provide bikes and helmets.
There are 4 bedrooms, including 2 Masters with en suite bathrooms. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. In addition, a Den/TV room has a pull-out sofa and its own private bathroom. The house allows for privacy and works extremely well for multi family/multi generational get-togethers.
All linens (high thread count, towels and utensils are provided as well as bikes, kayaks and beach chairs. This fantastic home is the perfect setting for a memorable family get-away!

We are both Bostonians and grew up summering with our families on Marthas Vineyard. We live in California now and can't use the house as often as we would like, so we decided to put it in the rental market during the weeks we can not be there. It has been furnished and cared for as a family home not a rental.
